In the book about the Shackelton family written by Nelson Goodenough, he states that he borrowed the Bible from Wilford Oscar Shackelton. Wilford has passed away now and it is not believed that he had any children to pass the Bible on to.
Does anyone know who has the Bible?

The DAR will accept the marriage of Mary Ogden and Benjamin Shackleton (Mary's father, Gabriel, fought in the Revolution)!!!

There are a couple mystery Shackleton Families out there that we cannot find any connections to and we need your help!
1. Perkins Wentworth Shackleton-his mother was Ella May Buffum who married an unknown Shackleton-Ella's father was George Remember Buffum. Pictures of this family and a beautiful pine cone frame that was made by Perkins is located in the family pictures page.
UPDATE!! There has been a link found for this family to the "unconnected" John Shackleton and Anna Ault family!!
2. Francis G. Shackleton who was born in Western New York and died in 1936. His parents are believed to be Edwin Shackleton and Anna Gallagher.
