Jane Shackelton Family
Jane Shackelton was the seventh child and fourth daughter of John Ogden Shackelton and Anny "Mary" Wintermute. Jane married Benjamin Blossom at the Methodist church across the street from the Shackelton farm. Her husband, Benjamin is said to be the brother of Dorcas Blossom, the wife of Robert Theodore Shackelton, Jane's brother.

July 1899 at 10 years of age from drowning; Jennie, b. October 1885; m. (1) Mr. Stirs; 1 son, William Creamer; (2) Mr. Richardson; 4 children; Albert, George, Estell and William who d. as an infant

ii. John, b. 26 December 1862; d. 1924; m. Unknown; d. November or December 1931; 1 son, Roy; d. 1907 in Grafton, West Virginia at age 19

iii. Victor, b. 7 January 1865; m. Unknown in July 1884, she d. March 1923; 3 daughters, May, Annie and Jennie who d. November 1913
