Secondary 1 cadets will attend this course and receive an Energy Conservation badge
Civil Defence Course
Secondary Two cadets will attend a two day course on Civil Defence. They will learn the procedures on start rescue operations and control situations in case of a nuclear attack, earthquake, bomb blast and other natural calamities. Upon completion of the course, cadets will recieve a Civil Dfence Badge.
Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association(SANA) Course
Selected Secondary Two cadets will attend a three-day SANA course lecture where cadets will be educated on different kinds of drugs that are rampant in the real world of Singapore, the seriousness of takings drugs and the harm that would be inflicted upon the abuser and his family if one ever abuses them. After the course, cadets are given a folder with leaflets inside for the cadets to educate his/her friends or family who would also fill the form on the leafets. Cadets are also supoosed to draw a poster on what something they have learnt through the couse and summit it together with the filled up leaflets. they would then receive a SANA badge.
Silver Wing Course
The Silver Wing Course is newly introduced to the Secondary Two cadets where they will sit through a 3- day lecture on aircrafts structure, the outer and inner parts of an aircraft plus its physics etc. At the end of the lecture, the cadets will sit through a test. Upon passing the test, the cadets will be awared the Silver Wing badge.
Gold Wing Course
The Gold Wing Course is an extended learning programme from the Silver Wing Course. The Secondary 3 cadets will be taught on a more profound and detailed basis on the aircraft sturctures, the physics that is behind it, the air support team and radio communication. On completion and passing the test, cadets will be awarded the Gold Wing badge.
Specialists Course
The Specialist Course is a 4 day programme that moulds Part C (Secondary 3) cadets in NCC, from being followers to leaders, througha series of comprehensive lessons and mutuals. basic military knowledge and skills are taught to the cadets. On successful completion of the course, the cadets will be awarded the Army-NCC badge. The cadets will be promoted to a rank of 2SG or 3SG accordingly.
Senior Specialist Course
The Senior Specialist Course(SSC) is conducted for the selected few appointment holders from the specialist pool of each NCC unit. The SSC promotes the effective use of drills and allowing them to learn valuable skills in teaching and discipline. Upon completion of the course, the graduands will be promoted to the rank og SSG and awarded the coveted lanyard.
Cadet Lieutenant Course
The CLT course is held biannually. cadets who have completed their secondary education and are keen in assisting the corps will have to sign on for the CLT course. The CLT course is a two-week camp training programme. Cadets not only have to be physically fit but also have to have a certain amount of mental fitness in order to pass out with the respectful rank.
