The Sherwood Foresters Museum (Notts and Derby Regiment, 45th and 95th of Foot) is located in two separate Galleries, one in Nottingham and one in Derby. |

Nottingham Castle has, since 1963 when the Collection had to move on the closure of Normanton Barracks in Derby, provided an excellent Gallery to display artefacts of the Regiment, The Sherwood Foresters, the 45th and 95th of Foot, along with its associated Nottinghamshire Militia and Rifle Corps. |

|
The Museum is open every day 10 am to 5 pm April to October and November to March every day except Friday. The Museum is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Entry to the Museum is Free, but at Weekends and Bank Holidays there is a small charge for admission. There are no Parking facilities on site, except for disabled visitors, but the Castle is just a few minutes walk from the City Centre where there is ample car parking. |
