Seto also has three Blue Eyes White Dragons which he obtained before Yugi's duel. He tore up the fourth, which belonged to Yugi's grandfather, so it couldn't be used against him. One of his goals in life is to defeat Yugi, though that has never happened unless you counted the fact when he stood on a ledge over a huge drop into the ocean at Duellist Kingdom to force Yugi's hand in letting him win, but this was only for the fact that the elder Kaiba brother had to save Mokuba.
Also Seto is trying to deny a past that the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle keeps trying to persuade him which is true. 5000 years ago in Ancient Egypt, Seto was a High Priest under Pharaoh's Atemu's rule and was the holder of the Millennium Rod. Seto was pretty much a good guy back until something happened. There are many rumours about this but the one that seems to be most truthful is that Priest Akunadin, Seto's father, wanted his son to have the power and made him duel the Pharaoh to gain it, though Seto did lose. Also the High Priest has helped the Pharaoh many times, especially when he was battling Thief King Bakura. And just before Pharaoh Atemu was locked away in the Millenium Puzzle, he passed on his power to Seto, thus making him Pharaoh. However Seto Kaiba tries to deny all this, even though he has seen quite a few visions stating his past. His eyes have been opened to it though he still tries not to believe it.
The three things that Seto cherishes the most is his little brother, his three Blue Eyes White Dragons and his corportion. Trifle with any of these and you've signed your own death sentence. Yugi and the others have been trying to get Seto to be their friend, though so far it isn't working. But I believe, given time, that Seto will soon see Yugi and the gang more as friends then adversaries.

A transfer student from another Japanese High School, Ryou is the fifth unofficial member to the gang. He is quite good friends with Yugi and the others and also values their friendship. However, as innocent and friendly he seems, nothing is always a walk in the park for the gang.
Ryou obtained the Millennium Ring when his dad was on a trip through Egypt. Whenever the power of this item is activated, Ryou is taken control by a dark spirit named Yami Bakura, who causes much trouble for the gang. Once in Duellist Kingdom, the spirit tried to take control of Mokuba but Tristan stopped that and threw away the Millennium Ring. However the item can find its way back to its host quite easily.
No matter Ryou is usually there for the gang as a mode of support and will help them with whatever he can, making sure he tries to keep the spirit locked away inside the Millenium Ring when he does.

One of the villans of the show, Yami Bakura is the sinister spirit that lives inside the Millennium Ring. His mission is to obtain all seven Millennium Items in which when brought together will open a gateway to unimaginable powers.
Back in Ancient Egypt, when Yami Bakura was a young child, his family was very poor so he became a Tomb Robber so his family can eat and survive. One day when he came home from somwehere, he found that his village was destroyed and his family and friends murdered. The reason to this was that Pharaoh Akunumkanon needed to put away the shadow powers that made the Millennium Items.
When Yami Bakura was roughly around the age of 18 he found out that Pharaoh Atemu, even though it was actually Pharaoh Akunumkanon's brother who did it, murdered his family. And thus, he makes a plan of revenge. He does manage to have a Shadow Duel with Pharaoh Atemu but lost and was locked away inside the Millennium Ring.
When he emerged again 5000 years later he had no memory of his past except for what powers all the Millennium Items have together and a certain urge for revenge against the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle. Currently of now, Yami Bakura has the Millennium Ring, though which was taken temporarily from Yugi at the end of Battle City, and has also the Millennium Eye from Pegasus. However in the end of Memory World Arc, Yami Bakura is defeated for good by the Pharaoh and thus we don't see him ever again.

Mokuba idolizes Setoin every way, not being able to see his older brother's more cold hearted, power hungry side in the beginning. At first he could see no wrong in him but after Yugi Seto for the first time and that Mokuba went to avenge him did the younger Kaiba brother understand what Yugi did.
Mokuba didn't go through the same strict routine Seto did when they were both under Gozaburo's care, yet however he is still instated to be the Vice President of Kaiba Corp. Later on in both Noah's Arc and towards the end of the Battle City finals did Mokuba come to realise that Seto is somewhat cold hearted and wished that the older brother would go back to being the nice, sweet friendly boy he used to be.
