My Electrolysis Progress
I have completed about 40 hours and am well satisfied with the progress made. I am clean from the corners of the mouth to just below my jaw line. Some of my mustache area is also completed. Fortunately I have had minimal regrowth using a blended method. Have noticed only slightly greater pain around the lip zone..... Yike, until the area close to the nose was gotten . . that really hurts and made me want to sneeze . . tears galore. I'm over 60 hours now and my lip is about 90% done, thank God

I've reached another milestone. Just completed 90 hours and am about 60% done overall. The lip area is still a little stubborn, but nearly bare.  We are working on the neck now and have reached about 1 inch past the jaw line. Regrowth continues be be minimal.

Slow . . oh so slow . . now that we are working on the neck and side board areas, it seems things are slowing down. I'm at 110 hours and estimate that I'm about 70% done. A few hairs pop-up now and then on the lip area . . the main pain zone for me . . but not many.

Madam President
I am proud to announce that I was elected president of my local Tri-Ess chapter in June 2001. It was very easy being the only nominee/volunteer. Getting involved to a greater degree has been very rewarding. Each time a new member is accepted I get a warm feeling of happiness and accomplishment from  helping another sister find a safe haven and feel good in the knowledge that she is not alone in this circle of friends. I, however, do not take any credit for this. Rather my sister Lucy, our chapter's membership chairwoman, guides our new members through the early steps of membership.

Recent Illness
About May 25, 2002 I was diagnosed with non small cell Lung cancer. I am currently under chemotherapy and am doing well. I expect to be a survivor. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. I will update your periodically.
