Matinatta - Leoncavallo La Danza - Rossini La Serenata - Tosti Core'ngrato - Cardillo What a difference ! In this repertoire today Bocelli's is unsurpassed. The voice now rang out freely, and the high notes were marvelous. In Core'ngrato, he gave his best, with powerful high notes and a strong middle. The audience went wild (mostly because, if you made an enquire, 95% went to listen the Bocelli from the Romanza CD and not an Italian opera tenor !). Tu, ca nun chiange - De Curtis Paola sang fine, but was not memorable. Marechiare - Tosti Very good. Similar to the other songs, but Bocelli is not Pavarotti. Pav can really impress you here, specially in the high note where Pav has a natural gift that Bocelli lacks (but so does Domingo and Carreras anyway). Brindisi from Verdi's La Traviata Good. Bocelli relished the words again, showing again what a difference an Italian tenor makes.
