Torna a Surriento

Excellent ! He relished the words, and let the voice out ! He ended the song a note higher than usual. The audience went wild and shouted "Con te partir" many times.

Romanza

Not yet folks. He sang at last a song from the Romanza album and the public almost sang together. This is what they've been expecting anyway ! He ended the song by sustaining the final note almost endlessly. Here Bocelli is not only unsurpassed but memorable. Mainly because he's the singer who is associated to the songs from the Romanza album and that made me think afterwards, when the audience listened in the past to Tamagno, Caruso, they must have responded so vividly because they were pioneers, they created the roles and were contemporary to famous composers and conductors who knew and were aware to the tradition. Nowadays, we have been so distant from that time, that you listen to tenor A and tenor B and they sound the same. But, let's get back on track.

Con Te Partir

At last ! This is Bocelli's calling card. The audience went wild afterwards. Bocelli's high note was splendid here !

Ave Maria

A strange song/aria to end a recital/concert. But he sang it very well indeed but was tired. He came back three times, but the orchestra left also and finally everybody left.
