Model United Nations has been a part of the Dubuque Community School District since the 1970s.  In 1997 Chad Van Cleve took over as the district MUN advisor.  His teaching position at Senior High School made MUN a more stable club because of his daily contact with students at Senior High.  To give as many students as possible the opportunity to participate in MUN, students were recruited from Hempstead High School and Wahlert High School.  Since that time, with the help of fellow Social Studies teacher, Eric Lenze and teachers at Hempstead, the MUN program in the DCSD has grown.  At this time, Hempstead and Senior both have their own programs, each with twenty plus members.  Please browse these pages to learn about MUN at Senior High School and to learn about the activities in which you can participate.  If you have questions or comments feel to contact Eric Lenze : [email protected]
