Senior Branches, who are we?
Program Info
Senior Branch Program
Girl Guides of Canada is the largest worldwide organization for women and girls. We are found in 140 countries whose members are either Girl Guides or Girl Scouts.

Nationally Canada has approximately 205,744 members. In Ontario their are approximately 93,000 members registered.

Canada is divided up by provinces and provinces are then divided into areas, each area is divided into divisions and divisions are then divided into districts.

McHale Division is one of 11 Divisions in Trillium Area.

A Senior Branch member is a girl (young adult) registered as a member of Girl Guides of Canada that is 15 years and older. (In most cases the cutoff is 18, that is when a girl can become a leader)

When a girl enters Senior Branches she has three choices. They can either become a Ranger, Cadet or Jr Leader. It is their decision to decide which program will fit their individual needs.

In McHale Division we currently have 12 Junior Leaders and 6 Rangers.
