Story: I got my belly button pierced in October 2002 on holiday, it rained so much! When I do piercings myself they don't hurt so bad, and after fainting when I had it done I thought I'd always stick to self piercings in the future!
In March I got bored and weird as usual, and as I always play with my belly bar/ring I was messing about and shoved the bar through another piece of skin. I'd wanted to shove another bar through for a while, but never got round to it. After making another hole, I picked at the skin with my tweezers (yeah, sounds very nice) until there was a big hole at the top. It was bleeding everywhere by this point, but I love blood so it didn't bother me.
I stuck one ring through then stuck the other ring half way through, as the bottom wasn't wide enough. In the end I just shoved the ring through the bottom, I didnt feel a thing. It hurt for a while afterwards, but when I changed it to 2 bars with small balls on the end it was fine, and doesn't bother me! Plus it stops me from playing with it all the time.
