Guy Whelan, his brother, gained full control of the team and renamed it McDe's Xpress under the sponsorship of McDe's (a local pub located off Route 27). The team was sponsored for many year's by that bar and even had their name changed for a brief period of time to The Player's Pub Xpress.
However, Joe Seeman recently gained complete ownership of the team when he chose to sponsor them a few years ago. Since then he has been an active sponsor for the team with the name Seeman's Chiropractic Xpress. He even played a game here and there and is still currently on the team roster.
