| Here is the following list of all players on the Seeman's Chiropractic Xpress 2007 Roster including player scouting reports. Guy Whelan (Manager/Util): Guy is one of the best clutch players in the game and is a former high school ballplayer. His knowledge for the game is unmatched and his hitting ability is up there with the best. As a manager, Guy is positive, respectful, and influential. He does his best to please everyone even if it means batting himself last every game. Gene Bisulca (C/DH): He'll play occassionally but you can always count on him showing up. He still connects with the ball well, usually taking his opponents off guard. Shane Whelan (Scorekeep/OF): This year will be his official rookie year and Shane is looking to impress. He hopes that with practice his youth will bring some depth to the team. Tom Zoppi (P/1B): How can the Xpress survive without their pitcher? Tom has good arch to his pitches and has struck out the side before in a game. Tom can also thrive in any hitting role and has good pop deep in the lineup. Brian Temple (SS): A team veteran, he's got the experience and the "know-how" to get it done. He does well in the clutch role and makes for a solid infielder. Keith Fenton (C/1B): Big, strong, and makes for a great brick wall at catcher. Keith has good pop but he thrives in the AVG. column as well. Men on base? They're coming home. John Beck (1B): John makes a difference everytime he plays. He loves to have fun playing and he's a pure hitter. Beck has great hands at first and occassionally puts it over the fence when at the plate. His RBI production is quite high as well. Nick Zoppi (2B/SS): Arguably the most disciplined batter on the team, Nick knows how to get on base. He makes for a great leadoff and is a very dependable fielder. No one turns two better than Nick. Bobby Whelan (3B/SS): He's a human vaccuum at third base and is just a pure athlete. He can still run and hit very well. A star performer. Woody (OF): With good speed and leadoff hitter attributes, Woody can change the pace of the game in a heartbeat. He plays to win everytime and scoring runs is his speciality. This veteran knows how to get it done. Ray Carpenter (N/A): He's a suicidal center fielder and always lays himself out for the catch. He's got some decent pop off his bat and is a run producing machine. Jim Pastor (OF): As one of the team's younger players, Jim can do just about everything. Don't underestimate his ability to drive the ball and his ability to run or you'll get burned. He's coming into his prime. Mike Scienski (OF): A triple threat. Power, speed, and fielding ability. This man should get speeding tickets when rounding 2nd! He has had record setting numbers in the RBI category as well. Jim Pikula (OF): Pure power. He'll drive it to the fence if he wants to, maybe even put one over. But Jim truly thrives with his dependability. He rarely, if ever, misses games. Dave Whelan (OF): Like the other Whelan players, Dave is clutch, he thrives in the clutch role. He has natural athletic ability and is a solid fielder. Mike Cervanak (IF): Mike can play basically any position and can stop even the hardest of rocket line drives. He's hit some big flies before and there's no telling when he'll do it again but hitting for average is how this big man plays. Paul Chavan (C/1B): Paul can be a very reliable sub. He's a good hitter, has good discipline, and has good knowledge of the game. Wade Il Vento (2B/OF): He's scorekeep's former Satire teacher in high school and one of the funniest men alive. On the field, he's got a good glove, speed, and hitting ability. Joe Seeman (OF): The team's sponsor may not see action this year but there's no telling when he'll come back for old time's sake to put one over the fence again! Andy Dios (DH): Not much is known about this substitute's abilities. Edgar Lugo (OF): Although Edgar is not a regular, he is probably one of the most dependable guys on the team. He's a great contact hitter and is a big team player. Jeff Welstead (DH): Still yet to play a game, little is known about his abilities. Mike Farley (DH): Friend of the family. Great guy, perhaps a great player? We'll have to wait to find out. |
