| In 1996 I joined University Radio Exeter, shortly after starting at Exeter Uni. I was an active member through my degree and MA. Afterward leaving Uni I continued to Live in Exeter when I worked at Reuters, and continued to play a role, doing a weekend radio show. I was voted in as head of music, creating playlists and interviewing visiting bands. My greatest achievements included having backstage drinks with Cerys of Catatonia, kicking Tommy from Space during an interview and recording live sessions with many top flight bands. I did many shows during my time at URE (and Xpression as it was renamed), took part in lots of different events, and worked with lots of people.
