Just a wee little word in. Planning for issue seven has begun somewhat, articles ideas are in contemplation. As always, reader contributions are warmly accepted (warmer than homemade apple pie!) Secondly, in regards to the tag board: If we print the word "fuck" in the zine (i.e., my Accidents review), then let's hope the kids aren't offended. The point is, we don't censor. So fuck shit up! Write us a scathing review!

may 26th 2003:
put some of the issue 6 stuff up. Happy birthday Melissa Fijal. You rawk my socks so hardcore you don't even know.

so yeah. we're doing ads again. please read this for all the details. thanks to heros and d-happy for the nice words/sond the 17th. that was awesome. uh yeah, so get your buttons. submit your work. and yeah, be brave enough to leave your name on the tag board, hmm?

el 24 de Mayo:
We're ordering buttons for issue number 7! 3 different designs, 4 different colors. They'll be available for 75 cents each. Available only by asking us for one in person. Foo. Which means you gotta go where we are. (Mwahahahaha)! There's a very limited number, but with the possibility of cera buying a button maker within a few months, there will be more.

April 19, 2003:
Is it bad to say that I forgot this page existed? Anyhow, if you're here, you know it does! So the announcements, as if we don't repeat ourselfs enough:

+ backcopies cost money but we'll do them when we have enough requests for them.
+ money is allright here. thanks to the shed goes and friends for massive donations. *hint*keep them coming!*hint*
+ issue 6 out in less than a month. the closet date we can give you to a release it may 16th, and even thats not affirmative.
+ we might do a show thing some day... (yeah right)
+ buttons and stickers are in early stages.
+ t-shirts are on hiatus.
+ getting ye old' mailing adress PO box. aren't you proud?
+ we're getting rid of geocities soon enough. that's hott. :)

+ photo side project in early stages of planning. ask us about it @ [email protected]

November 28th, 2002:
This page is new. but okay this is the place to find annoncements and you know all the neat ideas that are happening. Besides, organization is key when you've got a zine. Things to know:

& 2 + 2= 4. 2 (jan and cera) + 2 (ashley and meghan)= 4 (the full crew of seat seven).
& back copier will be out in due time. they will definatly cost money money you say? yeah, so donations are the usual, but hey, back copies take effort that i really don't want to put in. gotta catch 'em the first time around.
& we might get rid of the donation system to just .50 a zine. We have to at least pay off a little without our own money.
& issue 3 re-prints out soon. We made less copies, with more pages. Ah well. They'll be sent soon (hopefully).
& release party.... this is a maybe. we have to find a venue, find some bands, make another zine, and get people to come. we're not sure if we can do it ourselves. we will definatly need help and bands. so yeah, if you want to help or ask about it [email protected] .
& submit things! it's the cool thing to do!!!!
11.28.02
Jan here. snazzy semi new (easier to navigate) layout up. nothing too fancy or special. we are going all out for shakira's bithday. added 'new' section, because alot goes on in seat seven no one ever finds out. Uhm... Issue 3 articals will be up in due time (when cera sents then to the email). That means, in time the fully Johnny interveiw will be up. Thats so exciting. I could pee myself (or not)... *yawn* Oh yeah, we might be moving the site, as geocites is not so good (haha. i didnt need anyone to tell me that!!!) The holidays are coming. What will we have up our sleeves?

11/04/02
We have a plan. We're copying early Saturday afternoon, and *hopefully* distributing at a show later that evening, I believe it's a Stinkbomb/Warren Commission show, but maybe I'm getting shows mixed up... But yeah. Saturday, a show, a zine.

11/02/02
Halloween has come and gone, but no number three. It's coming very soon. We're now looking at the end of this week (aka Friday, November 8th) as the day to do this. If we don't have it for some horrible reason (momumental earthquakes, the wrath of "God", papercuts, whatever), then we will be taking names and places to send it when it does get done. But we're trying our hardest to get it for the 8th. And it should be well worth the wait. We've had plenty of submissions, so we think maybe you guys (aka the readers) have realized that this is your zine too... yay! Keep em coming!

10/16/02
Target date: Samhain. (aka Halloween... Oct. 31st). Get your work in now (!!!) to be in the next zine... Space is almost full. Anything after we plan this one will be for online or the fourth issue (wow... four is more than I hoped!) But we're still looking for submissions. Always are.

9/27/02
A few things. First, we have a new seat seven member, Meghan. Hopefully she'll begin to make her mark around here soon... Second, we conducted an interview last night that was... interesting. Results from that should be visible in the next zine. And third, we've decided to get the third issue done asap... We're antsy to get another one out. So expect it sooner than the last one!

Welcome to Seat Seven. You can learn more about it here. Otherwise, navigation around the site shouldn't be so bad. There's a decent amount of info taken, but not as much content as we would have liked. Wait until the next issue. there will be more.

9/21/02
Quick request for those I mailed zines to. Let us know if you got them. Please? I assume since it's been almost 2 weeks and no one has yelled at us yet, you have but still... And maybe you could also let us know what you think? :) At least let us know if you got them. Thanks!<

9/10/02
Mailed the zines today (hurrah!). Want to hold peace rally tomorrow.

9/8/02
I posted *most* of the articles. Things may not look pretty for now, but once the html goddess gets to it, it'll look prettier than Miss America. The mailed zines still haven't been mailed yet. No cash to do so (I paid for food in quarters yesterday), but I'll try to do it early this week, when I still have money. Also, I'll (hopefully) be getting a job soon, so then I can definitely do it. My apologies yet again.br>
9/4/02
Things we have yet to accomplish:
-putting new articles up (not only the ones from the print version. There's a few others too). Should be accomplished by Saturday night. Sorry it wasn't done before, school and all that fun stuff limits my time.
-mailing the zines to those who requested them. Sorry this hasn't been done yet, but it seems that whenever I have the money to mail them, I can't get to the post office. I'll *try* to do it this weekend, at least some of them, depending on how many I need to mail (I know it's more than last time, but I don't remember how many more). I'll email the people who requested them and tell them when I sent them if I can't just send them all at once (then I'll just post something on the site...) My apologies again, feel free to kick me and/or use the return address on the envelope to send massive amount of skittles to. Oh, the horror!

The only other thing to note is that we have plenty of copies left, so if you see us, feel free to ask for one.

8.25.02
Oh yeah, a psudo layout. rawk on with my bad self. all i did was put the links on the other side and make a little seat seven image and change colors. but it is cute and it is for the issue 2 relase, so just deal. you know its hott and you with everything could be as simple as this site. ah well. Five days until issue 2 is out. So expect much more online in 5 days and of course, a prink copy. ask us for one. we usually wont bite...well, I don't. I donno about cera.

things we need:
+ a stapler of our own
+ a scanner for the comics
+ a life time supply of skittles, starburst, gobstoppers, tacos and twizzlers.

Still in need of opinions on abortion. Anything sent in will be edited for length, profanity, and other content (your original message will not be affected). If you don't want us to use your name, please specify. The responses we do receive will be put on the site in their entirety, only in the print issue will they be shorter. So use your voice and tell us what you think!

8.04.02
KABLAM! Release date: August 30 or 31! Officialized and everything! (if you don't think you'll see us around this time and are antsy to get a copy, email us with your address and we'll send you a copy by early September.)
7.13.02.
ATTENTION:We need input for an upcoming article (as usual...) So... The question is: Do you support the right to abortion and why or why not? Go into detail if you can, and be honest. We aren't judging you because of your choice, and no one else will. Let us know if you want to remain anonymous or what name you want used, and be aware that responses will be editted for grammar and profanity. So, tell us what you think... [email protected]. Thanks!

july 07, 2002 - jan makes some updates (for once). Added an Inader Zim reveiw to misc. and another book review. Can you tell we enjoy books?

6.14.02
New layout. New little comment bored. it's so cute.
6.11.02

We got our Fuzbuni interview back just a coupla of days ago, I promise to write soemthing up for it and maybe we'll have it posted in a few days. Other than that, I promise to try to keep this site pretty and do some work for it once my vacation starts (at exactly 5:15 tomorrow- damn driving lesson!). Right now I have a major brain block and can't think of any article ideas, but I'll figure it out.

6.5.02
Brinkster=baaaaad. We moved back in.Sorry if anyone was annoyed by our no showingness... I make no sense. Yeah. You know what I mean.
Well... We're still looking for submissions, so get on it!

5.19.02
We released it yesterday, and the response was one that made me happy. I don't know if people actually like it, but they didn't spit on us [yet].

5.16.02
Just tonight, tomorrow, and until 3 pm on Saturday.
We have phenomenal news... Kim... aka "Starla"... sent us a phenomenal article about the blood bank controversy. People will be reading the zine just to read her article, I swear! It's amazing, and I encourage everyone to at least find a copy of the zine if only to read this one article.
Other than that, the zine will be in its final-ness tomorrow sometime after 6. SO GET YOUR COPY!!!

5.14.02
Jan came back, she went somewhere with her dad, but everybody just forgot. Evilnesss...
ANYONE WHO KNOWS OF A PLACE THAT WE CAN GET 600 COPIES MADE FOR LESS THAN 6 CENTS PER, PLEASE TELL US!
[and send us your writings/articles/stories/art/pictures]

5.11.02
Jan disappeared today. I'm trying to be nonchalant about this but if it was by her choice, it pisses me off, and if it wasn't by her choice, I am motherfucking worried. But the eefect this has on the zine... We were going to finish up all but copying today, and now, we have nothing. And hey, if it wasn't by her choice, then... GR!

5.10.02
Jan managed to get on and put the pictures we've gotten so far up... See the music page for a link to it. They're rilly spifftacular pictures, and we're still looking for more... Even if they're not pictures of the shed, anything interesting... whatever. We'll take it. (We don't sound desperate or anything, do we?)

Well, other than that, we have about a week to get this done. I think we're finishing up tomorrow, and copying sometime next week. Knowing us, it'll be Saturday morning. But we shall be done. I swear. I hope

Oh, and the shirts... I know we're definitely holding off on those for a bit. I owe too many people too much money to go investing in a crazy scheme like that. So maybe if we get a decent response to the zine and I get that job I've been looking for.
5.07.02
(tis cera) We are considering making t-shirts, now that I know how screen-printing is done (thanks to the people at the shed...) This is still really tenative, so, hypothetically, if we were to make t-shirts, would anyone wear them? Would anyone be willing to pay a small price for them?

In non-seat seven news, in constant motion may be recording next month (or so their email claims...) so, we have that to look foward to.

5.05.02
Changed layout a smidge. To frames. I'm sorry! I made sure they're not too constriction. Honest. If people don't like it, they can yell at me and I'll change it. Fair enough, right? I hate geocities. If I get a job I'm buying seat seven a professional website. then I can have choice of frames or not.

5.04.02
Jan here. Well the zine is okay for now. no one apologes, therefore we both still have pride, which makes us happy.

Important MessageThe first issue took probably 6 months with 2 lazy teenagers. That's why we're doing this: asking for a 3rd member who could fit in with us who can do work, help us, that sort of thing. We are kind of looking for a guy to do this, so we aren't too feminate, but that definatly does not mean we won't pick a girl. We will choose someone right for the zine, of course. We've had a few offers from maybe 4 or 5 people and thats so cool of them. We won't know until we meet up with them, talk to them, that kind of thing. I stress, this is a zine that does take a decent amount of time. Cera and myself have put forth much effort and we are constantly writing new things. But this third person cannot be lazy. Besides, they'll get access to all our neat stuff (i.e. the webpage, our e-mail, passwords, being able to say they're a part of Seat Seven [facing flying spittle. J/K]) so we've got to trust them too!

5.02.02
Dammit, no promises on the release date thing. Jan and I are having some... "decision making problems" (we are in an argument that's really stupid, yes, but we both have to much pride to apologize. Stupid lack of humility!)

But... I'm trying to make sure that even with the lack of humility, at least the first issue of this goes on unscathed and undelayed. After the first issue, the future (as of this exact moment) doesn't look too bright. I don't know if Jan's leaving the zine before the first issue, after the first issue, or at all, and I just generally do not know what's going on with it. I guess, for now, I'll continue to work on my articles and backgrounds and such, and hopefully this thing will blow over in a few days and we can get back to production. We have 4 more oppurtunities for meetings and a little over 2 weeks, so... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this won't die. I hate it when fun things die (and I was just starting to have fun with this!!)

other than that... we're still looking for shed pics?

4.15.02
Release date has been moved from the tenative date of April 20 to the slightly less tenative May 18 (both Saturdays) due to lack of interesting articles and we didn't want to have 6 days to assemble and copy. So we are taking the month to do that and also to promote. Sorry.
But... look for some of the lovely reviews, Jan's TV project, and the misadventures of roxette to be in the first issue. Along with whatever we do that's not just inane babble.
Also. Look for half-page fliers in four different designs, beginning distribution approximately April 17 through 20 (depending on when we get to copy).
