May 16th issue of Seat Seven was the trial run for advertisments in our zine, because we, as an independent zine, put out a lot of money from our own pockets to produce this thing. We do pan handle and ask for donations and as of late people have been particularly wonderful about that. But we do like the ADs and we would like to continue them in the future. Here are some things to know:
+ we will only print advertisments that we support or feel neutral about.
+ first come, first serve. this means, we will only put in so many ADs in the zine so get 'em in real quick otherwise we can't accept it for that issue.
+ pricing will vary. Because the zine is reletivly small now the space is pretty cheap. A page for us is half the size of computer paper. so 1/4 a page is $4. 1/2 a page is $6. A full page is $10. If the zine increses expect the price of these ADs to increse also. If you want to put in more money, that's awesome. We'd love you for it.
+ when you submit your AD know that when we photocopy our zines the quality of the AD will be lessened because it will, obviously be photocopied. we will do the best we can to keep it legible. this of course, isn't all us. if you are paying for an AD make it nice, please.
+ questioned can be sent to our email or on the guestbook.
+ submit all work to [email protected] + as for payment... cash only. preferable before the zine is printed. if we know you, and trust you we will let it slide so as you can pay us back later. and if not, you better get you money in fast.
