Welcome to the website dedicated to the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra's concert tour in Germany and the Czech Republic on June 25 to July 9, 2001. I want to share the many memories and experiences I had on tour with my friends who want to know about it and also have something besides a few photos and scattered memories to remember the trip by. Working on it also proves to be a good productive way to stave off summer boredom.

Anyway, I was a second violinist, one of about 80 members of the GDYO who went on tour. This past season was my first with the GDYO; I had been looking forward to the trip since I was accepted last year. It's truly a wonderful experience, both in the musical and social aspects.
