| The Chronicles: Activities |
| Here I will talk about my hobbies. The first one that I really got into and is still one of my favorite is Chess. I started playing the game when I was around eight. It can be serious as is possible or very exciting, at least the way my friends and I would play the game. I have also been involved in many tournaments. The game is usually is associated with drab English style. however, the game is quite nice once you get into it. |

| At Morgan State I got involved initially in the International Students Association. There, I was able to learn and understand the different perpectives of people of different cultures. I was also able to understand why it is so difficult to cultivate relations between these different cultures. What I have learned to do is to be a mediator and develop myself to deal with the many contradicting situations that crop up. |
| I like to try to do many different things and try many new things. I always give the activity the benefit of the doubt from eating food to deciding on a career. As such, I have interests in many activities in general, however, I do have a preference for interactive activities. Thus, the line up of medicine, computer science, research, art, and even cooking. |
| My college experience has taught me to become a lot more self servient as the bid for budgeting and independence became greater. I accomplished such things as learning to cut my own hair; to swim on my own; quick navigation through any transit system, dealing with bureaucracy; with late nights at laboratories doing uncorporating experiments, and developing an appreciation for the meaning of teamwork. |
