BK has not benefitted as much from sneaky golf lessons as JJ. However, the
presence of Jerry's head usually means he'll up his game by a couple of
notches. Has the technique to make the scores.
Strengths: Flashy up-to-date golf equipment. PR
skills result in world-class reasons for piss-poor rounds.
Good at cooking.
Weaknesses: Dodgy Irish train service usually results in
plenty of no-shows. No amount of PR will excuse some of his rounds.

| Dec |
The two-time champion last year lost his crown. Current favourite and
lowest handicapper will mean the pressure will be on again to perform.
Rumoured to be past his best, it's looking like the new blood has passed him
out.
Strengths: Apparently possesses the "worlds greatest 3-iron".
Weaknesses: Unbelievably smug head from previous
victories results in other players raising their game to compete.

|
| Jerry |
Showed huge promise while winning the St Steven's Greeens Classic but
soon reverted back to a sub 25 round during the
pre-season. Improving in confidence, he could make an major impact
this year.
Strengths: World-class web page designer. Far from being
fairweather player, he's out on the course freakin' loads during the
year. Plays the "numbers game" as a means of achieving
his scores...
Weaknesses: Grip, stance and most of all, patience.
Learned his dodgy golf technique from some dodgy Adare junior-D hurler.

| JJ |
Current Greenroyd Cup champion, so the man to beat this year. May suffer
under the new handicap rulings. Well known to benefit from sneaky,
undeclared golf-lessons.
Strengths: Plays a fine tactical handicapping game.
Likes to play the mind-games with Meade and Vaughan - usually with success.
Weaknesses: Handicap limit of 25 will prove a real test.

| Mark |
Ultra-competitive streak means he's made big strides in a short time.
Needs another few years under his belt though.
Strengths: Counting. Single-minded and FOCUSED.
Would reputedly sell his own granny to achieve a win.
Weaknesses: Sever shortage of experience means he'll struggle
against top players.

|
| Sen |
The middle-ranking journeyman struggled to move past mid-table
anonymity last season. Affected by his insistence on being a
dual-player on both the golf and surfing tours.
Strengths: Surfing. Flashy drive off the tee.
Weaknesses: Consistently average scores means
he's had trouble making into the top two places. Apparently doesn't
have the "mental toughness" to counteract Dec's jibes.

|
| Tom |
His relocation to back to Tipp makes him even more of a fringe player than
2003. May only be seen out on Tipp or Roscrea courses this year.
Should not be underestimated however.
Strengths: Sublime "secret" skills of down-the-trouser-dropping
usually brings results.
Weaknesses: Fair-weather man only, will only play when
the sun is out, the swallows are circling Slieve na mBhan, and
Venus is aligned with Mars, etc. Can suffer from AYM syndrome.

| Richie |
The Big Man's been knocking on the door every year, but just can't seem to break
through. Last year saw heartbreak at the final hole when he had a chance
to win the tournament. Just needs all the pieces to fall into place for
him to get his hands on the cup. Known for playing well when the scores
don't count.
Strengths: Quality short game developed from a misspent youth
of pitch & putt and jockin' horses.
Weaknesses: Poor long game due to a dodgy back developed
from a misspend youth of suppin' pints and jockin' horses.
