Notes:
Has a robust and elongate body with a silvery bronze lustre and a rather pointed snout. Dorsal and pectoral fins are sholt with a spine at front. Spines can inflict painful wound. Has a small adipose fin. Terminals of fins black. Body of fish also has numerous narrow, parallel, tranverse iridescent ci-oss-bands. Sold fresh or dried-salted. |
