I've been thinking - this relationship; the one we have; is one of the most unique I've ever had. It's also one of the best. I would be hard pressed to explain it.

I could describe the strong eroticism that we seem to generate in each other; the great sex we ignite in each other; the trust and comfort in our silent moments, the fun and funny way we see our lives; the calm and relaxation when we sleep together; the love we have for our children. I could describe all these but would still be at a loss to put a label on this thing we have.

There are times when we both feel something different than friends, different than lovers. These times scare us both. We are not sure we want to care this deeply. We are not sure we want to take the risks; to risk the pain.
