What is the Tarot?
The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana depicting various archetypes and 56 Minor Arcana which are the originators of modern playing cards. From this pictorial catalogue of human experience, we can see our lives and problems from new perspectives. This is a unique tool for problem solving and personal growth.
What can you expect from a reading?
A reading will not give you easy answers; this is not "Miss Cleo." A reading involves participation from the querent (or seeker). You should take the information from a reading and use it; it's about exercising your free will and making informed choices about your life.
A reading will tell you about influences around you, from your past, your present, your subconscious, and your environment; it will give you probabilities to work with in your future decisions. It will involve some degree of soul-searching and willingness to face inner challenges.
About me:
I've been studying and reading the Tarot for 17 years. I am also an ordained minister of Wicca and can serve in any clerical capacity.
I believe in empowerment through awareness and education. I try to make my classes fun as well as informative -- my teaching style is down-to-earth and hands-on.
I work with six different Tarot decks. My current favorites are the Osho Zen, the Thoth, and the World Spirit.
Private, one-on-one readings can be scheduled for those in the Northwest Arkansas area. Cost is $20. for a private reading. Appointments can be made by e-mail or by phone at: (479) 571-2529.
I sometimes read at Passage's at 2332 N. College in Fayetteville, Ark. on Intuitive Arts Days, the second Saturday of every month. Call Passages at (479) 442-5845 to find out when I'll be reading.
Currently, I'm collaborating with surrealist artist Becki Lamascus on a Tarot deck based on mythic symbolism from Persian, Egyptian, Greek, and Celtic cultures.
