Since you asked, though...

Professionally, I'm a graphic artist/reporter with The Herald Independent, a small community newspaper in Winnsboro, SC. "Graphic Artist/Reporter" means that I get to lay out almost all of the newspaper's pages and design most of the ads. So I'm responsible for about 90% of the paper's overall look. The "Reporter" part means that I also get to cover any stories our other two reporters don't want to cover but need to be covered anyway. Essentially that means Town Council meetings in both Winnsboro and Ridgeway, plus stuff like the downright frigid, miserable, and pitifully attended 2003 Winnsboro Christmas Parade. I sneak in articles on the railroad museum as often as I can, of course.

Personally, I'm an easygoing slob with a quick, self-depreciating sense of humor. I always wear some sort of hat, usually a striped engineer's cap. I'm a volunteer at The South Carolina Railroad Museum, which is a fantastic little shortline railroad museum that you really ought to come and visit.
