The highlight of the centenary event will be Scouting Sunrise.  For the first time in the history of Scouting, every scout from every nation in the world has been invited to participate in a simultaneous campout. 

At each location, 8:00 am local time on August 1, 2007 Scouts will welcome the dawn of the 2nd century of Scouting.  During the ceremony scouts will renew their promise. The event will “zenith” with a the blowing of a Kudu horn – a recreation of the first horn blown by Scouting’s founder on the first campout.  A centenary Kudu horn is being prepared for it's first blowing on this date at our location.
