A Scouting
Reunion and Campfire
Scouting Sunrise is an opportunity for new scouts to join, current scouts and
leaders to show off, and former scouts and leaders to see what scouting in the
21st century is all about.
Everyone who was ever a scout or wanted to be is invited. This is a family
camping event. We welcome any person and their family - scout, former scout or
nonscout to participate. If you can't stay to camp consider enjoying the reunion
campfire scheduled for Tuesday, July 31 and the Scouting Sunrise ceremony
scheduled for 8:00 am Wednesday August 1, 2007.
Re-enactors Robert Baden Powell and Juliette Gordon Low will tell the story of
the scout movement at our campfire.

See all of scouting's highest awards presented in a very special court of honor
at our campfire on July 31. Local youth will be earning:
Girl Scouting - Gold Award
Boy Scouting - Eagle Scout Award
Venturing - Silver Award
Seeing all three is a near once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. |
