Adventures and Activities

Our Celebration Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, leaders, former scouts and the public of all ages are invited to attend a special celebration campout on the 100th anniversary. We will also be celebrating our Oklahoma’s 100th statehood anniversary.

Meet re-enactors portraying Robert Baden Powell and Juliette Gordon Low.

A short wave radio station will be on up to 24 hours a day talking to Scouts all over the world.

A high speed internet connection will also broadcast live events from the World Scout Jamboree to our local campsite!  Chat online with scouts across the world.

A reunion campfire covering the history of Scouting worldwide and locally will occur in the evening of July 31. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will learn more about the customs of each organization.

Discover historical displays of Scouting memorabilia, collections and a Scouting flag gallery.

Navigate the Centenary trail - a GPS guided tour finding hidden quotes of Scout leaders in the past 100 years.  Completion results in the earning of a special recognition.

Explore a simulation of the gear used and games performed on the very first scout campout at Brownsea Island in 1907.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before the Scouting Sunrise ceremony.

Pioneering projects, patch trading and more are planned.
