| Scott Coriell Welcome to Scott Coriell's web page. Take a few minutes to browse through the page and find out more about Scott Coriell, a highly trained musician, one that is regularly called for both Classical and Jazz situations. Scott recently graduated with his Master's of Music degree from The University of Arizona. Being a versatile musician, Scott feels comfortable in a Big Band, a Jazz Combo, a Symphony Orchestra, and a small chamber group. Some of the groups that Scott has performed with are: The Skyliners Big Band, Central Park West, The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, The Robbie Bush Band, The Tucson Boys Chorus, Flat Five Jazz Project, Moments Notice Jazz Combo, Tucson Ballet Company, The Arizona Jazz Orchestra, Young Sounds of Arizona, and The Echelon Brass Quintet. Scott has also composed and arranged pieces for groups that he has performed with. As a teacher, Scott has kept a private studio of up to 15 students. The majority of the students in Scott's studio audition and make Middle School and High School Honor/All-State Bands. One of his Middle School students even made 2nd chair in the High School Honor band. Scott has also been the director of The University of Arizona Studio Jazz Ensemble II, as a teaching assistant. Scott was also on faculty at The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Conservatory of Music as a Musicianship teacher, a private lesson instructor, and director of the Home-School Band.
