John Andres was born in England about 1625 and died ca 1715 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. His wife Mary (last name unknown) was also born in England ca.1627. John and Mary had eight children. Marcus married a woman named Rebecca. He died ca 1750 in Dorchester County, Maryland. John married Alive Greening and died ca 1763 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland .The other children were as follows Edward, Thomas, Elizabeth, Anthony, Nathaniel, and Marie.

Marcus Andres and Rebecca had six children in their life as husband and wife.  Isaac  was born about 1700 in Dorchester County, Maryland. Isaac married ca. 1723-1724 to a woman named Stanway. He died 1757 in Dorchester County, Maryland. The other children of Marcus and Rebecca were Sarah, Rebecca, Daniel, Nathaniel, and finally Marcus.

Isaac and his wife had four children. Joseph was born ca. 1734 in Dorchester County, Maryland and married Sarah Ann (last name unknown). Stephen was born ca 1736 in Dorchester County, Maryland. The other two children were Mary and Betty. The two sisters married into the Leaque family.

Joseph Andres and his wife Sarah Ann were married in South Carolina and had nine children. Joseph died ca. 1805 in Sumter District, South Carolina. Stephen Andress was born ca. 1770 in Wilmington District, North Carolina. He married Nancy Singleton in South Carolina. Susannah Andress married into the Stone family. Juda Andress married a Davis. John Andress wife unknown. Ann Andress married to a man named Giles. Isaac Andress wife unknown. Sarah Andress married into the Regan family. Joseph Andress Jr. married Mary Regan, and the last child was William Andress.

Stephen Andress was born ca.1770 and died ca. 1839 in Monroe County, Alabama. Stephen's wife Nancy Singleton was born ca. 1770 in South Carolina and died ca. 1851  Monroe County, Alabama. Stephen and Nancy had a total of ten children. The first born was Isaac born in 1795 Williamsburg District, South Carolina. Isaac married Mary (Polly) Nettles ca. 1820. Isaac died ca. 1859 in Monroe County , Alabama. Second born was Stephen Singleton Andress born Dec. 13,1797 in the state of South Carolina . Stephen married Susan Jane McCoy Dec. 18, 1819 in Monroe County , Alabama. Stephen died ca. 1855 Monroe County , Alabama .Susan Andress was born ca.1799. William Frances Andress was born ca.1802 in South Carolina and married a woman named Elizabeth Davidson. James Andress was born ca. 1805 in Sumter District, Clarenden County, South Carolina, James married Jerusha Haynes ca.1829.The next child was Evant Frances Andress born 1807 in Clarenden County, South Carolina. Evant was married two times. The other children were Nancy born 1812,Harriet born1813, Ellen born 1819, and Mary born 1820.

Evant Frances Andress was born 1807 in Clarenden County, South Carolina and died 1883 Tigerville, Polk Co., Texas , near the town of Livingston. Evant's first wife was Catherine Haynes the daughter of Isaac Haynes. The children of Evant and Catherine were Isaac Frances Andress born Oct. 14, 1830 in Monroe County Alabama. Nancy born 1835, Susan E. born 1840, Sinny Dee born 1845 , she married James A Wiggins, Darley Arabella born  1848, and Stephen James born 1850. The second wife of Evant was Harriet Whisenhunt the daughter of William Whisenhunt and Catherine Stabler.  Evant and Harriet had three children Crit born 1853, Felise born 1859, and Janie born 1856.       

 Isaac Frances Andress was born Oct.14, 1830 in Monroe County, Alabama and died March 11, 1906 Tigerville, Texas . Isaac first married on Oct.12, 1848 Charlotte Elizabeth Whisenhunt born September 17, 1826 Monroe Co. Alabama and died Dec.16, 1889 Tigerville, Texas   (a daughter of William Whisenhunt and Catherine Stabler ,  sister to Harriet). The children of Isaac and Charlotte were Mary Catherine Victory born March 08,1849 married Charles A. Hennington. Susannah Jane born Sept. 13, 1851 married first John Smith then second to J. M. Caves. Frances Evant born Feb.14, 1853 married Ella Bayles (Bales). Robert Thompson born Oct.15, 1854 married Cynthia Collins. Isaac Alphonse was born Feb.18,1856 and married Margaret Elizabeth Hilton. Harriett Arabella born Aug.5,1859 married James Monroe Hennington. James A. Beauregard was born March 21,1861. George Lee was born March 1, 1864.Charlotte Dee was born Nov. 30, 1866 and she married James Holliman April 30,1886. Joseph E. was born June 28, 1868. The next spouse of Isaac Andress was Smithy Jane Westbrooks, she was born in Mississippi in 1852 and died in Tigerville Dec.2,1915. The children of Isaac and Smithy Jane were Charles William born March 12,1891 and  the last child was Florence born August 14,1894 and died in 1985, she married Ocar Harmond Brent .         

Charles William Andress born March12, 1891 and died April 16,1978 in Pasadena, Texas and is buried at Cemetery Hill in Livingston , Texas. Charles married Eliza Jordan (the daughter of Perry M. Jordan and Drucilla Harrington ) in 1908. The children of Charles and Eliza were Albert born February 2,1911. Perry Lee ( my mother )born June 29, 1912, married Buford Melvin Scroggins (my father ) second she married Irby Eldridge . Delma born Oct.23,1915 married Woodrow Diehl , and last Viola born July 27, 1918 married first Charles Gloger second Jimmie C. Williams and finally Jess Perry.
