Advance notices about upcoming events and exhibition openings at the South Charleston Museum , discounts in the South Charleston Museum Gift Shop , and much more from your local history museum, including the knowledge that you are helping to support and sustain all of the wonderful programs, projects and endevours of your community museum . We continue to need your support and the time is NOW! During the very first stages of the Museum's conception in the 1990s, and through our first year of showcasing WV films, we received donations from our patrons. We hope that visitors and friends will continue to donate -we need support to continue our programs. We are looking for corporate sponsorships to help us guarantee our future - along with South Charleston residents, Kanawha Valley residents, and visitors from elsewhere. Our board members have all contributed their funds along with their time to help us. Can you? A worldwide search for other film programs like ours has turned up nothing to compare. Our volunteers and our board members make this possible. Our goal now is to begin building an endowment to guarantee that these efforts will continue in the future. We have proven we can give world-class programs and we want to further our mission with your help. The South Charleston Museum is asking for donations - we have a staff of only one person. We need funds to continue preserving our shared past, showing WV films and presenting many other programs including WV musicians, writers and more. All gifts are tax deductible as permitted by law.
