Qur’anic Initials
Some of the surahs of the Qur’an are prefixed with some letters or sets of letters. These letters are called “initials”. Until recently nobody knew anything about these initials. However, the research shows that these initials are also a common denominator of number “19”. Some simple examples are given in the following.
1. There are 14 different Arabic letters (half of the total 28 Arabic Letters), from 14 different sets of "Qur’anic Initials", such as A,L,M, (Alif, Laam, Meem) of verse 2:1. These sets are prefixed in 29 surahs. (See Table 4.1). So,
14 + 14 + 29 = 57 = 19 x 3
2. Between the first initialled surah (Surah 2) and the last initialled surah (Surah 68), the number of un-initialled surahs are: (See Table 4.2)

3. Between the first and last initialled surahs, as mentioned in “2” above, the number of changes from un-initialled to initialled and from initialled to un-initialled surahs are: (See Table 4.2)
19 = 19 x 1
4. From the first initialled surah (surah 2) to the last initialled surah (Surah 68) there are 67 surahs. This number (67) is the 19th Prime Number.
(Prime numbers are: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67). (Also see Table 3.1)
5. The sum of the 29 surah numbers where the Quranic Initials are prefixed:

(2 + 3 + 7 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 19 + 20 + 26 + 27 + 28 + 29 + 30 + 31 + 32 + 36 + 38 + 40 + 41 + 42 + 43 + 44 + 45 + 46 + 50 + 68) = 822 +14 (14 sets of initials) equals:
836 = 19 x 44
6. Sum of the “Progressive Numbers” of Surahs which have Initials prefixed: (See Table 4.2) is

7. Sum of Surah Numbers + Verse Numbers + Sum of Verse Numbers of surahs which have initials prefixed is: (See Table 4.3)

The Word “ALLAH”
1. The word “Allah” (meaning God) occurs throughout the Qur’an 2698 times.
