LETTERS, WORDS, VERSES, SURAHS AND NUMBERS

 

 

First Revelation

 

1.    The very first revelation of Qur’an consisted of five verses placed at Serial 96. (Verses 96:1 - 5).      

       This revelation consists of    “19”  words.  =  19 x 1
 

 

2.    Number of verses in Surah 96, first surah in the chronological sequence, consists of:                                                                           19 verses  =  19 x 1

      

 

3.    This first chronological surah (Surah 96) is placed at position “19 from the end.
 

 

 

Last Revelation

1.    The last surah revealed to Prophet Muhammed is Surah “Al-Nassr” and is placed at serial 110. This Surah has 3 numbered verses and one unnumbered verse (Bismillah). This makes the total 110 + 3 + 1 = 114 = 19 x 6  which is the total number of the Surahs in the Quran. So, in the last revelation to the Prophet Muhammed, Allah has put this code to confirm that the total number of surahs in the Quran is 114.
 

2.     Number of words in the last revelation (Surah 110) are: 

                                              19  words =  19 x 1

same number of words as in the first revelation.


 

3.     Number of letters in the first verse of the last revelation (verse110:1):

                                              19  letters  19 x 1

 
 

 

Bismillah

 

1.     The verse, “Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem”, occurs 114 times in 114 surahs of Qur’an, despite its conspicuous absence from Surah 9. It occurs twice in Surah 27.  Total number is:                                            114  = 19 x 6
 

2.     From the missing “Bismillah” of Surah 9 to the extra “Bismillah” of Surah 27, the number of surahs (including 9 and 27) are precisely 19.


 

3.     The sum of the surah numbers from the missing “Bismillah” of Surah 9 to the extra “Bismillah” of Surah 27, i.e. (9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 16 + 17 + 18 + 19 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 + 27)  is

                                                         342  =  19 x 18

 

 

 

First Surah  (Surah Fateha)
 

1.   This surah has seven (7) verses including “Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem” as the first verse. .Being the first surah of the Qur’an,

 

Rank of the surah               =     1

Number of verses               =     7

Number of words                =   29

 

      If we write rank of the surah (which is 1), then number of verses in the surah (which is 7) and then number of words in the surah (which is 29), the resulting number is:                                                                                                 1 7 29 =  19 x 91

 

2If we add these numerals:  1 + 7 + 2 + 9  = 19 = 19 x 1

 

 

3.  If we write rank of the surah (which is 1) and then all verse numbers in this surah, the resulting number is:

                                       1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 = 19 x 591 293
 

 

4.  In all 28 Arabic letters there are only two Arabic letters which, when pronounced, begin with meeting the two lips together. They are: B (Ba) and M (Meem). In this surah there are 4 Ba’s and 15 Meems. Thus, while reciting this surah the number of times lips meet together:

                                                   4 + 15  = 19

It means that even the meeting of lips while reciting this surah is controlled by the number 19.
 

 

5.  The Gematrical (Abjad) value of B (Ba) is 2, and M (Meem) is 40 (See Table 2.1).                                        So, the total Gematrical value of these two Arabic letters in the whole surah is:

                                    (4 x 2) + (15 x 40)   608  =  19 x 32

 

 

 

About Qur’an and Surahs

 

1.     Number of surahs in the Qur’an are:  114 surahs  = 19 x 6

 

 

2.      Sum of all surah numbers from surah 1 to surah 114

          (i.e.  1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + ………….+ 112 + 113 + 114) = 6555 = 19 x 345

 

3.      Number of surahs in the Qur’an = 114 =  6 x 19

         Joining numerals of 6 x 19 together makes a number 619.

         And 619 is the 114th Prime Number (See Table 3.1), equal to the number of surahs in the Qur’an.

 

4.      In Verse 75.17 Allah says,

 

                  75.17    “It is Our responsibility to collect it (The Qur’an) and make 

                                  you recite it”.

         The Arabic word for Collector (meaning Allah) is . The Gematrical (Abjad) value 

         (See Table 2.1) of this word is: 

         J (Jeem) = 3,   A (Alif) =1,   M (Meem)= 40  and   A (Ayn)= 70                                                                                                                       

                                                             3 + 1 + 40 + 70 = 114.

         So, the Collector (Allah) has already encoded the secret that He has taken the responsibility of collecting 114 surahs only.
 

5.     The Qur’an has been described in some verses as "Majeed" (glorious).    (e.g. verses 50:1,  85:21),  The Arabic word  "Majeed"  has a Gematrical (Abjad) value (SeeTable 2.1) of:

         M (meem) = 40,   J (jeem) = 3,   Y (ya) = 10,   D (daal) 4.
 

                                                        40 + 3 + 10 + 4  =    57 = 19 x 3

  


 

 Various Numbers Mentioned in the Qur’an

 

1.      The Qur’an mentions 30 different numbers: 1,  2,  3,  4,  5,  6,  7,  8,  9,  10,  11, 12,  19,  20,  30,  40,  50,  60,  70,  80,  99,  100,  200,  300,  1000,  2000,  3000, 5000,  50,000, & 100,000. (For location examples, (see Table 1.1). The sum of these numbers is:
