Chad's Summary: While on Vorash to set a date in order to sign a treaty between Earth and the Tok'Ra, Major Graham (Phillip Mitchell) tries to assassinate High Councilor Per'sus (Andrew Jackson). Graham, then, kills himself. Freya believes that Major Graham was a Zaytark - a victim of Goa'uld mind control. With the aide of a Zaytark detector, Martouf and Freya arrive at the SGC to investigate. During a Zaytark test, Lt. Astor (Kirsten Robek) is discovered to be a Zaytark. Lt. Astor chooses to undergo a risky Tok'Ra medical procedure to remove the Zaytark programming. The procedure is stopped before completion. Lt. Astor attempts to kill General Hammond, Dr. Fraiser, and Martouf before turning the gun on herself. Dr. Fraiser and Freya can not conduct an autopsy because of the way Astor died. The treaty signing is put in jeopardy. SG-1 undergo Zaytark testing, and they are asked to recount the mission from Upgrades. O'Neill and Carter are thought to be Zaytarks and are put into isolation. Jackson and Teal'c do not believe that their team members are Zaytarks. All remaining SGC personnel are cleared. The treaty signing is still going forward. Meanwhile, Freya visits O'Neill to thank him for saving her life. She attempts to have a romantic relationship with O'Neill. However, he turns Freya down. Freya wants to complete the Zaytark programming removal on O'Neill and Carter. O'Neill tells Jackson that Anise likes Jackson. O'Neill decides to undergo the procedure in order to help Carter. Per'sus arrives on Earth for the meeting. Dr. Fraiser stops the procedure, and The President (Roger Allford) arrives on the base. Carter and O'Neill undergo the Zaytark testing again, and they reveal their feelings for each other. Martouf is a Zaytark whose target is the president. Martouf  unsuccessfully attacks and is killed. He dies in Carter's arms.
