Chad's Summary: A Tok'Ra named Freya/Anise (Vanessa Angel) arrives at the SGC seeking SG-1's help in a scientific experiment using alien arm bands which can enhance the wearer's speed and strength. Teal'c and the Tok'Ra, themselves, can not use the arm bands because of their respective symbiote's. O'Neill is the first test subject later followed by Jackson and Carter. In a boxing match, O'Neill, very quickly, punches Teal'c. He falls to the floor. O'Neill and Jackson develop the ability to speed read. Carter can now conduct scientific tests, in her lab, in almost complete darkness. Carter's actions alarm Dr. Fraiser who runs medical tests on Carter. Dr. Fraiser finds elevated body temperatures and large amounts of adrenaline present in O'Neill, Carter, and Jackson. She also discovers that a virus has been released into their bodies. On Dr. Fraiser's recommendation, General Hammond orders SG-1 to remove the arm bands. After some protest by Carter, SG-1 attempt to remove the arm bands. However, the arm bands can not be removed. On the other hand, SG-1 does not want to remove the arm bands. In fact, O'Neill attempts to convince General Hammond to let the team resume their missions. However, Hammond does not allow SG-1 to continue on further missions. After O'Neill accidentally pushes Sgt. Siler down the stairs, the team is placed into an isolation room. They soon escape and head for O'Malley's Bar and Grill where the team orders four steaks, with side orders, for each person. After Daniel is called a geek by one of the bar's patrons, the team get into a fight. Back at the SGC, General Hammond learns some disturbing news from Dr. Fraiser. O'Neill, Carter, and Jackson's organs are failing. Hammond also realizes that he is being manipulated when Freya/Anise tells him, and the team, that Apophis is building a new Goa'uld ship more powerful than any other. The team secretly plan a mission to sabotage Apophis' new ship. They escape and gate to the location of the ship. During the mission to destroy the ship, the arm bands fail just as SG-1 are making their way back to the gate. Teal'c comes to his friends' rescue. He takes Jackson to the ship's exit, and a force shield prevents him from going after O'Neill and Carter who are separated on opposite sides of another force shield. After some time, the force shield goes down. SG-1 escape the ship which will explode, in a ball of fire, because of C-4 explosive planted on the ship earlier. After Teal'c kills two Jaffa guards and stuns another with a Zat gun, the team gate home.
