Chad's Summary: Jacob/Selmak returns to Earth seeking assistance in tracking down the Goa'uld Seth (Robert Duncan). Although O'Neill has some reservations, SG-1 agrees to help. Selmak has an alternative motive for coming to Earth. He wants Jacob to repair his relationship with his son Mark. However, Jacob is reluctant to see his son who did not come to be with Jacob when he was dying. Jackson's research reveals that Seth is a leader of a religious cult in Seattle. They go to Seattle and meet a parent named Jason Levinson (Greg Michaels) who is searching for his son Tommy (Stuart O'Connel). Teal'c notices they are being watched. Jacob and SG-1 enter Seth's compound for a brief recon mission. The A.T.F. capture them and order them to leave. On Jacob's order, O'Neill makes a phone call. O'Neill asks Jacob if Seth is using some kind of brainwashing agent. Jacob tells them about a drug called Nish'ta. The president gives SG-1 command of the operation involving Seth. SG-1 decide on the best way to enter Seth's base covertly, and they search for an entrance to a tunnel. Carter places a small hearing aid sized device into their ears. When the device is activated it will deliver a small electrical charge if they are exposed to Nish'ta. Jacob and Teal'c do not enter the compound with O'Neill, Jackson and Carter. They are captured and exposed to Nish'ta. Jason tells Jacob and Teal'c about the problems he's been having with his son. Teal'c does not understand and tells Jacob that, in Jaffa culture, loving one's own children is not difficult. Seth discovers that Carter was once blended with a Tok'Ra. After Carter tells Seth that the Tok'Ra sent them, Teal'c activates the device to free SG-1 from the drug's effects. Seth orders them killed, and SG-1 frees Tommy Levinson by using a Zat gun. SG-1 systematically frees Seth's followers. Seth knocks out O'Neill and Jackson and places a bomb near them. He then escapes. SG-1 and Jacob search for Seth in the tunnel. Seth injures Jacob leaving Samantha to kill Seth. Jacob and Samantha go to visit Mark.
