The aim of this site is to tell you some plain facts that (as I hope) would help you to understand and change some of the ideas about Islam that has mutilated its true amazing picture over the past years especially after 9-11 attacks of course.
The core idea of Islam is to think for yourself ,analyze and judge for yourself If it is a truth or a hoax and then to base your conclusion if you are going to join it or not.
The God repeatedly in Quran condemn those who refuse to think about their beliefs. it is a basic rule in Islam to doubt even what Islam tells you because this is the only way you can have a solid faith.
Two questions you have to answer before you chose your religion
the 1st question is:
Does God Exist ?
If a computer can not be formed only by the force of nature then how can some people doubt the presence of God. Any rational mind now after all the discoveries the mankind have achieved in the field of science can never deny that our universe was created by the hands of a superior power. read a book about embryology or how your body works or see the marvelous facts in animal kingdom. who taught the birds how to move their wings in order to fly. what rational mind told ants or bees how to build their colonies. their must be a god that have done this.
the 2nd Question is :
Who is this god and which among the world religions is the correct one to follow?
Islam is the most followed religion in the world and not Christianity as you may think because the majority of Christians are only Christians by name not actually practicing it in the. Christians in the western world usually don't go to Church except rarely. they spend Christmas having fun and usu do what Christianity forbid. how many times you see in newspaper in the US or Europe jokes about Christian religion. at least Christianity prohibit adultery still all people approve dating.
In the UK although Muslims is minority in number. still there are more Muslims regularly visiting mosques than Christian regularly visiting churches. Encyclopedia Britannica the 1911 edition released about a hundred year ago mentioned that Quran is the most studied and most red and studied book in the world even more than the bible. it also mentioned that Islam is the most fast spreading religion in the world. both terms apply till now
in the book ( Clash of civilizations ) Samuel Huntington mentioned that if the pattern of spread of religions kept the same then one day Islam will be the only religion in the world
It is a fact that between Muslims scientists (esp. those involved in medicine or nature science ) are usually the most religious group even more than religion students that is why in medical schools in countries like Egypt the percentage of veiled girls by far more than in any other collage or school almost approaching 97% while in other collages you it is usually 60-70%. and this is actually the opposite to any other religion where people involved in science are usually the least religious
I have red to a famous writer ( I don't remember his name ) defending his point of view of not believing in God if god exist we should have found him through looking in science not in the supernatural world the prophets talk about.. that is true and that is why the god ordered us to see the wonders of our world in astronomy, biology, and all other sciences in order to believe his existence. even evolution and how did one creature developed into another is mentioned in Quran (walk the earth and see how did the world and creation started)
what I am trying to do in these few pages is to give you some of the points that made me choose Islam as my religion.
On of this is the many facts that was mentioned in Quran describing scientific facts about the universe that was not discovered except recently. Facts that could not be mentioned 1400 except by the one who created this universe and no one else.
I will also try to give examples to some few principles and ideas that Islam is based on.
This is not a professional work I am only a person that feels lucky to have a jewel and want to share it with a the people I can.
1- The scientific miracles of Quran:
This is simply a complete undeniable proof that Islam is a truth and that it is the religion the god sent to complete the series of religions that was started by Adam and continued up to Judaism and Christianity.

8-Islamic Library: (may be I didn't read much in it, but it is great and in simple english ). A great site for those how seek to know about Islam and I got a lot of information out of it. the Library section is of great benefit.
9- the following list is useful but note that they tend to write lengthy articles so please be patient and read the full article so you don't get half Image for example in one of them there is an article about blood transfusion the writer mistakenly started by some phrases that means it is forbidden but if you just scroll down you will find that it is legal in therapeutic uses but the illegal is drinking blood for non necessary reasons
