As most of us know currently George Lucas is working on making the prequels to the original trilogies, Episodes I, II, and III. These movies take place before the Galactic Empire takes control of the galaxy and near the final days of the now growing corrupt Old Republic. These stories focus on the training of a once boy in The Phantom Menace and now Teenager in Attack of the Clones named Anikin. They also focus on how Palpatine slowly takes over the Old Republic and turns it into what we know now to be the Empire. Here are some of the latest news updates that I have found.

Star Wars Episode II is out! May 16th, 2002 As we all know Episode II came out today and personally I loved the movie! It was much better than TPM and the acting and the special effects both were better. The action is well balanced with the love and plot scenes to make this a great movie! I reccommend it!
Episode II rules all! June 3rd, 2002: It turns out the Star Wars is mostl likely going to beat out Spider-man. Spider-man has been out for about 4 weeks now and has only made 333.6 million dollars while Episode II has been out for half that time and has made 201.3 million dollars. I think we know who is going to eventually win this war.
