Unlike the boy of The Phantom Menace Anikin is now 19 and still the padawan of Obi-Wan Kenobi.  In Episode II Anikin is assigned to protect Padme from assassins after she was attacked after landing on Coruscant.  Even though Obi-Wan is reluctant for Anikin to go on seperate mission than him, he eventually agrees.

In Attack of the Clones Padme is no longer the queen of Naboo.  She now represents her people as a Senator on Coruscant. Mace Windu - Jedi Master
Actor: Samuel L. Jackson
The only human on the Jedi Council.  Mace is second only to Yoda.  In Episode II except some action from Mace.  Mace is well schooled in Jedi philosphy and history.  Making him not just a powerful Jedi, but a smart one as well.
Yoda - Jedi Master
Actor: Frank Oz
In case you haven't noticed, Yoda is not a puppet in Attack of the Clones.  Yoda is generated by the computer in this movie.  But Frank Oz, just as always will play his voice.  We also get to see Yoda in action in Attack of the Clones.
Jango Fett - Bounty Hunter

The father of who we know as Boba Fett.  You may recognize his armor to be the same Mandalorian armor as Fett but different in color.  Though Jango is only a bounty hunter, he can hold is own against Jedi such as Obi-Wan or Mace Windu.  In Attack of the Clones Jango works for Count Dooku
Owen Lars - Son of Cliegg Lars

When we last saw Owen he was much older and the uncle of Anikin's son, Luke.  In Episode II we get to learn more about how Owen and Beru get together and how Owen becomes related to Anikin.
Beru Whitesun - Owen's girlfriend
Actor: Bonnie Piesse
We also saw Beru in A New Hope as the aunt to Luke.  During Episode II Beru and Owen are not yet married but they are possibly boyfriend/girlfriend in Episode II.
Boba Fett - "Son" of Jango Fett, First Clone
Actor: Daniel Logan
In Attack of the Clones we actually find out that Boba Fett is really the clone of Jango Fett.  Jango decides to takr him on as a son and teach him.  The boy, just like his father eventually becomes a bounty hunter.  But he does get a piece of the action in Episode II as well.
Zam  Wesell - Bounty Hunter

Ki-Adi-Mundi - Jedi Master

Count Dooku or Lord Tyranus -Part of the Separists, Ex-Jedi Lost Twenty, Qui-Gon Jinn's master.

Bail Organa - Viceroy and First Chairman for Alderaan

Adi Gallia - Jedi Master
Actor: Unknown
You may or may not have seen her sitting on the Jedi Council in Episode I but she's back in Episode II and she also gets into some action as well.
Jar Jar Binks - Gungan Representative in the Senate
Actor: Ahmed Best
Yes I know, Jar Jar's back, but don't worry people this time Jar Jar is more mature and believe it or not he actually represents the Gungan people in the Senate.  Also to mention he has a lot less screen time in this movie.  Obviously George Lucas has learned from his mistakes in Episode I, but still killing him off entirely would have been nice.
