The alarms were pouring in from everywhere.
"Super Soldier, I got another update from SHIELD: T. O. Day has apparently escaped from the Belle Reeve Vault." Huntress said through the JLA membership card which served as a communication device.
"Add another escaped villain to the chart." Super Soldier said studying the stormy New York sky line. "The best thing you can do is sit tight and keep us updated, Carol. Patch me through to Darkclaw."
"Yeah?" A gravely voice asked.
"It’s Super Soldier. T.O. Day-"
"Escaped from Belle Reeve." Darkclaw finished Clark’s sentence for him.
"One of your deductive reasonings?" Super Soldier asked.
"No. I hacked the SHIELD mainframe. He and then the Lineachronauts. That makes 15 inmates with ties to time-travel freed from prisons in the past twenty-four hours...not counting those that have been freed in other parts of time."
"What is this?" Super Soldier wondered.
"I don’t know, but AIM-STAR and Cadimus are both sending faxes to SHIELD on the effects of the recent surge in chronological activity on the space-time continuum. The strain of this many travelers traveling through time could tear the fabric of time."
"I’m calling an emergency meeting. We really need a time-traveller in the League...what do you suggest we do?" Super Soldier asked, flying towards JLA Headquarters.
"Buy me some time. I’m working on it." Darkclaw canceled his transmission to Super Soldier and turned to a vidscreen with a call from Reed Richards.
"I don’t like this." Zauriel said, soaring on the wind created by the brewing storms.
"Yeah, a strange storm’s coming." Thunder Woman said. "The Astroforce is giving off a weird vibe."
"It’s not just that. I feel space-time changing around us."
"What?" Diana asked, twirling her mace.
"Angels have more senses than mortals. When you are an angel, the space-time continuum doesn’t effect you. Now that I’m mortal its like I can feel it...at least until I fully adjust to the earthly plane."
"So what are you saying?" Thunder Woman asked as she stopped twirling her mace.
"Someone, or something is about to--!"
SHROOOOOOOOOOOM<
Zauriel felt himself distort and leave the his current position in the time stream. He appeared in a void, or pocket out of time, surrounded by the rest of the JLAvengers. Hawkeye threw up. Others followed.
"Welcome to the clutches of Kang, my foolish heroes!" Kang appeared above them, laughing. His voice echoed, though there was nothing for it to bounce off of.
"Kang!? So you’re the one responsible! What is the meaning of this?" Super Soldier yelled.
"To get you out of the way, my pets!" Kang smiled and laughed.
Suddenly, a whirlpool started up next to Diana. She felt herself being pulled. She couldn't fly. She was sucked in. The rest of the Avengers followed unwillingly.
TIME WARP 1
Conner woke up, though he had not remembered falling asleep. He looked up and saw a man shaking him.
"Wake up Archer, you don’t want to be asleep when we raid Lord Kang’s castle." The man smiled. Conner realized he was in some forest. It was serving as a type of hide out, because grass huts were all over. People that looked like extras from the movie Robin Hood went about, preparing for something. He grabbed his bow, to find that it was only plain yew wood. He grabbed an arrow. Wood with a piece of iron on the tip. Something was definitely wrong. He looked down and discovered himself garbed in a Lincoln Green tunic with a hood. He glanced over and saw Huntress, dressed in a brown robe, helping a woman make a sword.
"Huntress!" He called out. She turned and saw him. She left the woman and walked over.
"Conner, are you aware that we have been transported back to Medieval times? This is incredible!" She laughed.
"Wow, just like what I always wanted! But how are we going to get back?" Conner said uneasily.
"Haven’t the slightest clue." She turned. A sudden gust of wind and Thunder Woman landed beside them.
"The Thunderbringer!" An old man whispered.
"That’s Woman, Thunder Woman." Diana smiled. "I’ve done a little scouting. Here’s the good news: I have reason to believe that there is a way back. Bad news: Its inside Kang’s castle. It seems Kang has set himself up as King. Another funny thing, I found myself in a much younger body."
"That’s because you were alive in this period of time." Darkclaw hopped down from his place in an oak tree. "Your present form just entered the one from this period. I’d imagine it’ll be like that for the others...if they are even here. It explains why Conner, Carol, and I have not changed except for wardrobe. We have no past counterparts, but you were alive on Themyscira during this time period as a teenager. That would lead me to believe that this is real, not just some side reality. If we don’t stop Kang, then everyone is doomed. Past, present, and future."
It had to be true. Darkclaw was dressed in sleek black armor, with sharp orange stripes.
"What? Dark Knight... you talk but of nonsense." The man who woke Conner up replied. "Now, young Archer, lead the way to the battle against Kang!"

TIME WARP 2
Zauriel found that the body he was currently in was not his body. He screamed. He looked around and found he was in the back of a large plane. A very old plane. Beside him, Mariner kept staring at his hand. "My hand is back...."
"We are all much younger. Kang’s transport must’ve had a side-effect. We have either been changed or we are inhabiting our forms from during this time period. Except in your case Zauriel, you are now inside the body of the Guardian Angel before you." Captain Marvel explained.
"Great. So what are we doing?" Zauriel found that he had no wings, but a pencil thin mustache.
"Apparently we are in a plane that resembles one from the WW2 era. If that is true, then I can only imagine where we are..." Mariner stared at his hand while talking. The door slid open to reveal Super Soldier, only in a normal human form, not in his electric blue body.
"My God, Super Soldier...you’re human again!"
"I...I know. Prepare for battle. According to the pilot, this era’s WW2 is not against the Axis powers, but between Kang, the overlord, and a group of rebels called the Allies." The hatch opened in the back of the air plane. Mariner and Zauriel strapped on chutes. "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" They leapt out of the
plane and onto the battlefield.
WARP 3
Miss Miracle, Magneto, Silicon Man, and Vengeance found themselves in a strange new world. Crystal thought it was the future, but then she saw a New York City sweatshirt on a skeleton.
"We’re in the future..." Miss Miracle whispered.
"Yeah, and check out these groovy duds!" Silicon Man then noticed he was old. "Jeez! Would you look at these wrinkles!"
"I know what you mean." Magneto scratched a stubby beard.
"Wait...I don’t have my speed. Something's not right." Wally looked scared. They made their way to the end of the rooftop to peer over at New York. They were shocked at what they found. Soldiers marched everywhere, huge holographic billboards with Kang’s face on them adorned the skyscrapers that
reached up, and seemed to be swallowed into the heavens. Clouds covered them. Flying cars hovered around and soldiers marched in step, proclaiming Kang as the king of all time.
"Welcome to the future." Miss Miracle spoke sadly.
