Marcus Blake was born near Kansas, the child of a rape victim, his mother died while giving birth to him. The orphan dubbed Marcus was put in an orphanage and he was a silent and reclusive child. After his third birthday he was adopted by the Blake family, and he assumed their name and the memories of the orphanage faded with the exception of dreams he had. His "parents" loved him dearly but seemed unable to get through to him. He called them mom and dad, but further than that it never went he was a stranger in his own home. He did have an exceptional brain and an aptitude for reading which combined with his exceptional memory made him stand out in school. His parents pleased with his performance send him to Kansas University. During his first year, when he was 16 years of age, he started having dreams, about being followed and of mangy looking wolves, which he ignored by diving more into his study books. On the day of his 18th birthday, which was in a two week off period, a man showed up in his late thirties, who basically flat out told him that he was his father, and that Marcus was of the blood. Marcus obviously in denial, was knocked out by the man and taken to the nearest Black Spiral Dancer Hive. There he learned his fathers name: Killian Fangor or Cghar, Defiles-the-Pure. Marcus was exposed to a small amount of balefire and had prophetic and revealing visions, which combined with the torture broke him and he was rebuilt the way he could serve the Wyrm the best. As a trial he was sent to eliminate his parents, which he did with a cold determination that earned him some respect of his conceiver or father, then he proceeded to cover it up as an accident. The Black Spirals in the Hive healed his injuries before sending him back into society and to school. At first glance nothing seemed to have changed in Marcus, he was still as quiet as ever, and most of the times engrossed in a book, but inside he was cold, calculated and ruthless.
When he graduated he was approached by a Pentex recruiter, who told him this was what they styled him for. Marcus indoctrinated into a fanatical loyalty to the Wyrm wholeheartedly agreed, because of his signs of potential he was allowed the chance to start up a new Pentex Subsidiary. They helped him with the plans for Maelstrom Incorporated, pointed him towards a Pentex controlled Bank and a new company was born. Marcus servitude has been examplary, his control complete his goals clear, no incriminating evidence, enough money to buy a country and most of his employees have no idea.....but off course there are also the "Special Employees".
Maelstrom Incorporated
Off course the actual development on the venues Maelstrom is much greater than anyone could imagine. Marcus and his "Special Employees" already have a range of working cybernetic implants and replacements that are kept out of view to be used by Pentex as it sees fit. They are used to outfit the Pentex First Teams and allies of Pentex, off course Maelstrom has had quite the collection of unfortunate test subjects, but they have been disposed off at the moment. At the moment Maelstrom does what it claims, with the exception of a joint venture with Onyx Vortex Pharmaceuticals. Maelstrom's greatest success in creating a weapon has been J.A.C.K
The J.A.C.K Program
One of the test subjects responded well to the testing of implants and after perfecting several of that kind, and classifying the subjects body, Maelstrom proceeded to make certain unwanted individuals disappear from society. They used fronts similar in working to the Salvation Army and picked up drifters and bums. These subjects, all male, were injected with high amounts of steroids and mentally wiped clean, then they were infused with implants and cybertechnology as well as a Bane.

The J.A.C.K Project was initiated to maximise the task of Body Guarding, as well as other strenuous and boring tasks which how important they might be, provoke a degrading performance of a regular bodyguard.
Off course, J.A.C.K is still relatively expensive but because of its versatile construction can be used in more than one way. Guard duty, Patroling, Anti Rioting, you name the task and we are more than certain that J.A.C.K is the choice for you.
J.A.C.K possesses enhanced muscle structures as well as dermal armour plating, implant weaponry in the form of triple barrelled guns for long range and claws for close range, nanites provide J.A.C.K with a regenerative system, his reaction time has been enhanced dramatically, allowing him to take more actions in a turn and his special way of construction makes him efficient in combating supernatural enemies, J.A.C.K also possesses a system that can be activated in times of dire need, powering his enhancements beyond their recommended levels. This combined with his adaptive capabilities makes J.A.C.K one of the most efficient all round weapons available.
