| I have enjoyed building stuff every since I was 10 years old. The first thing I made was a rubber band gun, wooden dowel barrel, clothspin trigger, and a pistol grip that was too small for my hands even at that time. But I was so happy because I built it. I continued building rubber band guns untill I wanted to build something called a pellet gun. It was a gun that a spring loaded bolt would hit a pellet further down the barrel and throw it out the barrel. I made the pellets out of 1/2" wooden dowel. After I got tired of the pellet guns, I went to building blow guns. These were guns that you blow into pushing a dart to about 50 yards, these were made out of tubing with a diameter of 3/8" to 5/8" anything bigger or smaller would be too hard to blow. all these guns were the barrel and a mouth piece, sometimes maybe a hand grip and things to hold more darts around the barrel shaft. Now the next thing I started to get into was by accident. Me and my friend Randy were going to a halloween party and we needed a theme for the two of us. Well we decided to be T.K. and Mike to the party. Well we then figured that we needed some props to go with our costumes, we made the W.W. the Porto Pooper, and I made a bottle rocket gun. At the time I didn't give it much thought of what I made. but everyone at the party loved it and me shooting bottle rockets with it. Well it has been a year and several months since I made the first one, now I have made a total of 19 and sold two of them to friends. One of them, the Winchester, is the greatest guns that I have built of this type. Well I wanted something else to try building so I tried my hands at making a potato gun, after I saw someone in a book build a bazooka. The gun looked very much like the one in the book with a 1 1/2" barrel and a 2" chamber. After I finished that gun I built another one. This time the barrel was 40 cal. and had a 1/2" chamber, this gun realy looked like a real muzzle loader. witha a ram rod holder and the trigger form the long stem lighter placed were a real trigger goes. The only thing worng with this gun is that the chamber is too small. The potato gun got me really going into the pneumatic cannons. My first cannon wasn't even a cannon at all. It was a paintball gun. I was into paintball at the same time (still am) and I wanted to build a homemade gun to use. I works good and to get more information on this gun go to the final model page. Well then I wanted more. so I built the shotgun right after I was through with the paintball gun. Then came the toy and last the sniper rifle. Now I am still building newer guns and newer types of guns. I am working on two nerf guns right now and trying to decide if I should try to make one or not. |
