| There is no age or other requirements on acceptance of animals at LAHRR other than being classified as abused, severely injured or blind. We regret that LAHRR is unable to accept older horses for retirement purposes only. Donkeys and llamas are also accepted at Lost Acres. |
| Although monetary donations are always welcomed, we are deeply appreciative of other items as well. Blankets, halters, lead lines, leg wraps and quilts are always needed. Other small items such as gauze, adhesive tape, baby oil, duct tape, vet wrap, scissors, etc. are in abundant need. |
