"A Few of Our Rescues"
Tommy, a five year old Standardbred came to LAHRR with stifle problems.
Tommy is a success story!
He has been adopted to a wonderful home with two other "LAHRR" champions.
Sissy and Tommy
Joe, a Quarterhorse, came to Lost Acres because
of a broken shoulder received after being kicked by a larger horse.
Joe was also 350 lbs underweight, suffered from a severe skin infection, and "walked" on his ankle due to the broken shoulder.
Today, Joe's shoulder is healed and he is doing great!
Dancer
Dancer, a Thoroughbred racehorse, was involved in a serious trailering accident sustaining many injuries including broken bones.
He was directed to Lost Acres when his new home, following the trailer accident, proved to lead to neglect and malnutrition.
Dancer has been adopted and is shown here with his new owner.
Coalton
Coalton, an Arabian colt, came to
Lost Acres a seven month old.
At the age of 2 1/2 years, he was adopted and is shown here with his new owner.
