"What? Do you think I'm daft? I do know what Paul would have done had I not come, and I know how the lads are. Yeah, I figured it out. You knew they were doing it too, or you wouldn't have gone," Claire said.
"Yeah, but...you had just had a kid..." Sydney said.
"So you just guessed?"
"That and, one time John and I talked all about cheating and whatnot. He didn't actually say it, but the implied it. He did say that was the only time George or Paul did anything even close to cheating on us," Claire said.
    The girls sat in silence for awhile before Sydney said what was on both their minds.
"So am I...kinda...a Yoko?" Sydney asked.
"Yeah I guess.. well minus the awful howling, the ugliness, and dumb name. Oh and we all love you,"Claire said smiling.
"I don't want to be a Yoko.. This means the break up will be different though. Because it was a Paul/John fight before, and now it'll be a George fight. Also the whole Alan Klien, Mr. Eastman thing..." Sydney said.
"Yeah, but George was pretty OK with Patti going for Clapton," Claire said.
"So maybe they'll stay together longer! Maybe there'll be another reason for the breakup," Sydney said.
    Just then the boys walked in, but the girls were happy they had gotten to talk about everything. A week or so later, Mick Jagger was having a huge bash at his house.
"We may not be able to go...we have to finish recording these two tracks," Paul told the girls.
"We can't go...we have to stay with the kids," Cyn said talking about her and Mo.
"Oh we have to go! I know all of these guys!" Sydney pleaded.
    James had gone the day before to Michael's house, so Claire was free as a bird.
"O c'mon! We can finish by then. And if we can't then
the songs are no good!" John said.
"Now that's not true," George said.
    One of the songs they had to finish recording was"Blue Jay Way".
"OK, we'll be there...but we will be late," Paul said.
"I know how to get there," Sydney said.
"See everything will be terrific!" Claire said
    The next evening the girls drove to Mick Jagger's pad. Lots of people Claire had grown up hearing about
were going to be there, so Claire was excited. Sydney, however, had gone to many parties like these and was
unfazed.
"Now remember, you're important and well known so act casually," Sydney whispered to Claire before they wentinside.
"I know how to behave, I've had lessons,"Claire joked.
      The girls laughed and walked inside.
"Ok, lets see here...who to talk to first"Sydney said.
    They two girls walked over to Jimi Hendrix.
"Sydney! It's been a while. That's Claire McCartney right?" Hendrix asked.
"Yeah!" Claire said smiling.
    Claire looked over her shoulder and saw Mama Cass.
"So Sydney you finally dragged Claire to one of our nasty nasty drug parties?" Jimi asked.
"Nah, not really. The lads are coming later" Sydney said.
"Will you excuse me?" Jimi said as he walked to the other side of the room to talk to Graham Nash.
    The girls looked around the room.
"Hey it's Mick and Keith" Sydney said as she waved tothem.
    Mick Jagger and Keith Richards walked up to them.
"Ello Sydney" Mick said as he kissed her on the cheek.
"How's it been?" Sydney asked them.
"Pretty damn good" Keith said laughing.
"Rockin' party" Sydney said looking around.
"Well yeah! I mean I did throw it! So Mrs. McCartney is your son at home with a baby-sitter?" Mick asked
laughing.
"Oh call me Claire. No James, is with his uncle Michael" Claire said laughing.
"How come you never came to one of my parties before?" Mick asked.
"Taking care of the baby. I don't do drugs either" Claire said.
"You don't do drugs?" Keith asked astonished.
"Nope. Never had the urge to" Claire said smiling.
"Well I'm proud" Mick said.
"Thank you! I'm one of the only people who can be so good these days" Claire said.
"One of the only people I know as well who is clean, especially in this circle. �Keith said.
"What about Paul?" Mick asked.
"What about him?" Claire asked.
"Does he not care? Or do you care that he does?" Mick asked.
"No, we've figured it out," Claire said.
"Oh excuse me, I have some business to attend to" Mick said as he walked into a crowd of girls.
"I'll join him" Keith said laughing.
"So that was Mick and Keith!" Sydney said grinning.
"Aren't they...charming?" Claire said raising her eye brows.
