Chapter 3
"Yes...that's the word I would of used" Sydney said.
"Okay who else?" Claire asked.
Just then the Monkees walked up to Sydney and Claire.
"You two are married to the Beatles, right?" the one
They knew was Mike asked.
"Well only two of them," Sydney said.
"Well we're the Monkees. I'm Peter, that's Mike, Davy,
and Micky. We love your husbands' work," Peter said. "We know who you are," Claire said. "We've seen the
show. It's funny."
"You're music is groovy too," Sydney said.
"But it's not near as good as the Beatle's," Mike said.
"No one's is...I mean," Claire said laughing.
Sydney glanced over Claire's shoulder and thought she was going to faint.
"Claire. Linda's RIGHT THERE," she whispered.
Claire followed her gaze and saw Linda too. Just then the lads walked up.
"Hello! We're the Monkees," Mike began.
The boys chatted for close to a quarter of an hour, but the girls were too busy staring at Linda and wonder what to do. Then something they never dreamed would happen, happened.
"Hello," said a voice they knew all too well,
The girls spun around to see Yoko Ono. Sydney let out a small squeak.
"My name is Yoko," Yoko said.
The girls both looked at John. John  was sizing Yokoup, and didn't seem to be falling madly in love with
her. In fact, he seemed to be doing the exact opposite.
"Well we're the Beatles, and these are the Monkees." George said.
"What do you do for a living?' Ringo asked.
"I'm an artist," Yoko said.
"Well that's jolly good," John said as he turned around and resumed talking to the Monkees.
"So you've been married the entire time you've been
famous? How has that affected your popularity?" Mike was asking.
"Well, I suppose it hasn't. I can't tell really, the whole popularity think is lost in me. I mean, Ringo is the most popular. No offense Ring," John said.
"Oh none taken," Ringo said laughing.
"But Ringo's been married too... for a while." Davy said.
"And George got married during 'Hard Day's Night'," Peter said.
"And Paul got married during 'Help'" Micky said.
"I'm married. I have a kid too," Yoko said.
"That's...er...nice," John said turning back around.
"So was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds about LSD?" Mike asked.
"No, we're not saying we haven't done LSD, but..." John began.
"I've done LSD. I made a film about it," Yoko interrupted.
"That's great. But if you'll excuse us, we're going to
go talk to Paul Simon, Art Garfunkle, and Bob Dylan, " John said as they all six walked away leaving a
bewildered Yoko to talk to the Monkees.
They arrived at where Simon, Garfunkle, and Dylan were.
"'ello!" Paul  said.
"Well hello Paul, Claire, John , Ringo, George , and of course...Sydney," Bob Dylan said.
"Nice to meet you Bob, Paul , and Art," Paul said laughing.
"Oh no! We're going to have major confusion! There're two Paul's," John said laughing,
"Are you on something?" Sydney asked.
"Not yet,"John said and smiled devilishly.
They all laughed and talked about their latest records.
"Hey!" Eric Clapton said as he and Patti Boyd walked up.
"Hi!" John said.
The lads, Sydney, and Claire knew Eric from before.
"This is my wife, Patti," Eric said.
"This is turning into an interesting night," Claire
whispered to Sydney, but Sydney didn't hear.
Sydney was watching George who was watching Patti. Claire followed Sydney's gaze and noticed this too.
"So Patti, what do you do for an occupation?" George asked.
"I'm a model," Patti said.
"Oh well if you ever need a recommendation. You can come to me," George said.
