"I still can't believe Brian's dead," Claire said one day as she, the lads, their wives, and kids sat aroundher house talking.
    Brian had been dead for months already.
"Seems like only yesterday we were getting mad at him for making us tour," Paul said.
"You don't think he actually committed suicide, do you?" Cyn asked.
    Sydney was seated beside George and John, and looked a little uneasy. She and John had continued to have their affair, but had come close to being caught many times.
"No, it was an accident," John said.
"Yeah, but..." George began before three little kidswalked into the room.
    The smallest, James, walked over to Paul and Claire. The middle one, Zac, walked to Ringo and Mo, while the oldest walked to Cyn.
"I can't believe James is two," Sydney said. "I remember before James."
"Mummy, Daddy.. I'm hungry," James said in a British accent.
"Let's go get something to eat then, shall we?" Paul asked him. "Anyone want anything?"
    The kids were all hungry, so they went and got food. When they had   gone back to playing, Paul told everyone his latest idea.
"I think we should make a movie," Paul suggested.
"Like 'Help'?" John asked.
"I dunno.. Just a groovy little picture. Ya know for fun," Paul said.
"Why?" George asked.
"Why not?" Paul retorted.
"OK, yeah let's make a movie!" John said.
"So what will we do in this movie?" Ringo asked.
"Well, I was thinking maybe we could be on a bus
tour. You know like the ones through Blackpool and whatnot?" Paul said.
"Where they all get pissed?" George asked.
"Something like that," Paul said.
"Sounds good to me," John said.
"Dosen't sound very Beatle-ish," George said.
"Yeah it does. We've changed," John said glancing at Sydney.
"We look different.. That's it" George said.
"That's it??" Paul said incredulously. "We sound different..we think different.. We are different"
"Not that much has changed about us," George said although he didn't sound like he believed what he was saying himself.
"George, we're all eight different people. Of course, the times have changed along with us," John said.
"I think the movie sounds good," Sydney said trying tochange to subject.
"Yeah.. it'd be fun for you four to make, if nothing else," Claire said.
"Uhhhh.. Couldn't you lot come too?" Paul asked waving his hand to include all the wives.
"No we've got the kids to look after," Claire said.
"No, James is going to Michael's for a spell. So you could go...and so could Sydney..."Paul said.
    Claire looked at Sydney. Sydney shrugged.
"We'll think about it," Sydney said.
"So what will the plot be?" Ringo asked.
"I... er.. don't know. I suppose it could just be
there's a bus full of circus people and the Beatles
driving to see Blackpool lights," Paul said looking as
if he thought maybe it was, after all, a bad idea.
"I think it's a great idea! When will we start?" John ked enthusiastically.
"Whenever," Paul said looking sure of himself again.
    That evening Sydney and George stayed after the others had left, so Sydney could talk to Claire alone. Paul and George went to look at some of Paul's new song, while the girls talked in the living room.
"So, shall we be in Magical Mystery tour?" Claire asked.
"Do you want to?" Sydney asked.
"I think it would be fun," Claire said. "Plus, I don't want to be alone for that long, what with James and Paul gone."
"Yeah, and I mean.. as much as a flop as people say it was, it would be so awesome to be in magical mystery tour!" Sydney said.
"So let's do," Claire said.
"George almost caught us, yesterday," Sydney said.
"You and John?" Claire asked knowing it was in father and John.
"Yeah, George had gone to talk to George Martin about
'Blue Jay Way', and so John and I had a quicky. George came home sooner than we thought he would, so John snuck out the back," Sydney said.
"When are you guys going to fess up? If Paul ever had an affair, I'd rather someone tell me right away...I'd want to know," Claire said giving Sydney a look.
    Sydney thought back to the lads' last tour, but decided that didn't count as an affair.
"What if someone told you Paul might possibly have slept with another woman before...they're not sure, but not in a while?" Sydney asked.
"If you're talking about the tour that ended with Candlestick park, I know," Claire said.
"What?" Sydney exclaimed.
