Chapter 14
Sydney and Claire ran into the bedroom to claim their beds. Jessica walked in and layed on the cot. They all their pj's on.
"I don't think you guys like me" Jessica said laying back down.
"Whatever gave you that idea?" Claire asked.
"Hmm I dunno" Jessica said pulling the covers over her face.
Sydney turned the light off.
"Good night luvs" Sydney said jumping into bed.
"Golden Slumbers" Claire began to sang.
She was interupted by Jessica throwing her pillow at her.
"Now both of you shut up!" Jessica said.
"Did you hear something Claire?" Sydney asked.
Jessica threw her other pillow at Sydney.
"Wow! A pillow for my birthday!" Sydney said.
"Speaking of birthdays.." Claire said.
"Yes?" Sydney asked.
"Paul wants to know what to get George" Claire said.
"Maybe Paul could get George some new guitar strings and possibly string them for George" Sydney said.
"That's good! Nighty night" Jessica said.
So they eventually all drifted off the sleep. The next morning, Claire woke up first. Claire threw a pillow at Jessica.
"Rise and shine buttercup" Claire said grinning.
Jessica shot her a dirty look.
"Go to hell!" Jessica said.
"You're inviting me to your house?" Claire asked.
"Don't forget the handbasket" Sydney said sitting up.
"Now shut up! I was asleep!" Sydney cried.
"What to do today?" Claire asked.
"Hmm.. I dunno how about doing something with the lads?" Sydney said rolling her eyes.
"Well my 'lad' as you put it is off delievery boy-ing" Claire whined.
"Delievery boy-ing? What the hell does that mean?" Jessica asked.
"Now think about it...." Claire said.
"Girls girls! 'All you need is love!'" Sydney said.
"ALL TOGETHER NOW" they all said in unison.
"Let's go to Strawberry Fields" Claire said "Just the girls."
"Fab! Let's get dressed" Sydney said
So they quickly got dressed and went out into the living room. Cyn had left a note on the kitchen table.
"Food is in the cupboard. I went to speak to John about something. Be back around noon" Sydney read the note aloud.
"Come away to Strawberry Fields!" Claire said.
"Forver!" Sydney cried as they walked out of the front door.
They found their way to Strawberry Fields.
"I guess this is it" Jessica said as they walked past the Strawberry Fields sign.
"Let me take you down, cause I'm going to..." Sydney said walking forward.
The girls stayed there till about 3, then they headed back to Cyn's. When they got there, the boys were waiting in the living room.
"Where were you off to?" Paul asked.
"Strawberry Fields" Sydney said.
"Did you enjoy it?" John asked.
"It's very lovely" Jessica said.
"What are you planning on doing this evening?" George asked.
"Claire and I could go to my house" Paul said looking at Claire.
Claire nodded and gave two exaggerated winks.
"Cyn and I have plans so..." John said trailing of.
Claire and Sydney gave each other looks.
"That means I just have to stay here" Jessica said.
"No, you're not" Sydney said.
"What do you mean no?" Jessica asked.
"What do you think?" George asked.
"Where can I go then?" Jessica whined.
"You could go somewhere with that bloke Ringo" John suggested.
"Yeah, you could go to a picture" Sydney said grinning.
Jessica didn't know what to say. They all went their seperate ways. Paul and Claire got to Paul's house.
"Did you notice that John is acting weird?" Paul asked Claire.
"Yeah, I did. Well he has his reasons" Claire said.
"Which are?" Paul asked.
"They are very private" Claire said.
"Well he told you" Paul said.
"Well I have found that's it's not good to betray a friend's trust" Claire said.
"Okay.." Paul said letting it slide.
At 9 everyone met back at Cyn's place.
"So what did you do today Jessica?" Sydney asked.
"Ha ha funny" Jessica said narrowing her eyes.
Everyone laughed.
"Hey Claire and Sydney I need to talk to you about something, privatly" Jessica said.
"Let's talk in the bedroom" Claire said.
"We'll be right back" Sydney said as they walked into the room.
Claire shut the door after them.
"What up?" Sydney asked.
"When I was all alone..." Jessica said "I was thinking about how we got here."
"We wished it, isn't that how we got here?" Sydney asked.
"Yeah, the three of us were wishing together and it just happened" Claire said.
"What I was thinking about was if one of us just wished by themselves would you go back to our normal time?" Jessica wondered.
"Try it" Sydney said.
"What?" Jessica asked.
"Try it, try and wish your self back" Sydney repeated.
"Okay.." Jessica said drifting off.
