AIT Day 7
October 3rd, 2002
I'm so sleepy. I have a headache. I took my PT test this morning, that's why I'm so tired. I still passed, but I went up 29 seconds on my run and down two sit ups. It's probably because I've been on my ass for three weeks and I ate a lot of junk.
We all got a laptop for class. Gotta love the army. I wish we could take it back to the room. Oh well. It's a Pentium 2, but we all got one. I'm not complaining.
I moved to a different room last night. My new roommates are quiet and neat. One is from Haiti, the other wears religious underwear. He's a Mormon. The best part about the room is that it has a radio. Woo! I get to listen to WHFS 99.1, my favorite station. I get it at home and here.
I have a four day weekend October 10th. I don't know why. I'll finally be able to enjoy the rec center. I haven't had time to do anything. The standards here are so much higher than BCT. Boots not only have to be super shiny. We have to remove all the wet grass from the bottom.
If our rooms aren't spotless, we'll be hauling furniture down three floors and putting it on the grass.
