3-17-2004 Happy St. Patty's Day! Time to let loose and have some fun! Woo-hoo! Who else has already had some green beer? I know I have and in a few hours I'm gonna have some more! Have fun and be safe everyone! 3-16-2004 My dog has issues. Whenever I take him on a walk he barks at other dogs. I don't understand it. When my friends bring their dogs around then Koda will play with the dogs and everything is fine, but when we're out on the street it's a whole different story. If he sees another dog out on the street he justs starts barking away at it. He starts jumping too. I think he scares the other owners. They just stare at me like I've got the dog from hell. I apologize and explain that he really is a friendly dog and that he just gets excited when he sees other dogs. Why does he do this? How can I stop him from doing this? I really wish he would stop doing this. Any suggestions? 3-15-2004 I went grocery shopping today. There was this cute little old lady that needed help opening those plastic bags they have for you in the produce section. I know I have a hard time opening them, so I took the time out to help her. She seemed to be quite appreciative of the help. That was my good deed of the day. Why do they make those bags so hard to open anyways! It's ridiculous. That's why I like Ralphs. Their bags are so easy to open. Although I do prefer to shop at Trader Joe's and Whole foods. Those places are the best! They have great food and good prices. The sandwhiches and soups at Whole Food are so good. If you live near a Whole Foods then you should try it out. School was long today. I had a hard time staying awake. Didn't get much sleep last night. I had a hard time staying going to sleep. I ended up reading until about 2 am. Gonna go eat some lunch now. Talk to you all later. 3-10-2004 I got some work doing some tutoring today. It's not permanent though and I have to drive to Irvine. Hey, any bit helps you know! Still looking for a job though. Time to celebrate the tutoring gig though! Coffee bean here I come! 3-03-2004 I got a ticket today! My first ticket ever! Well, not really. I've gotten one of those running the red light camera ticket things. But, those dont' count. This is the first time I've ever gotten pulled over. I was going down the 405 at about 80 mph. I looked in my rear view mirror and I saw a highway patrol car sitting on the shoulder. I immediately slowed down, but the car pulled on the the freeway. I knew right away I was going to get pulled over. Now I have to do traffic school and pay the ticket. Needless to say this was not the best day ever. 2-29-2004 Happy birthday leap year babies! 2-20-2004 My birthday just passed. I have the best friends. They all pitched in to buy me a brand new cellphone. I love you guys! I had the world's suckiest phone before so this was a much needed present. Now I've got great reception everywhere. Bye bye dropped calls, hello clear sounding conversations. They also took me out to dinner! We had sushi at my favorite place and then we hit the strip! I got a little bit more drunk then I should of, but hell, it's my birthday. I got a few new donations today. Thanks to Sam and eman! I really appreciate it. Muah! 2-18-2004 I'm baaaaaack! NYC was sooooo cold! It feels so great to be back in sunny California. The cold on the east coast was just unbearable! Having to wear scarves, and hats, and gloves, and big old jackets every day is not for me. I don't know how they do it! Other than the cold though, NYC was great. We did all the touristy things like the Empire State building - amazing view. Saw Rent. LOVED it! Ate serendipity 3! That place is heaven! Frozen hot chocolates! MMMM!!!! Ate at Gray's papaya - also good. Took a lot of pictures. We also went down to Washington, DC for a few days. I loved it there. It's so pretty. Everything just feels so......majestic. Overall I had a lot of fun. It's nice to see my sister again. I miss her. Can't wait until she's done with school and moves back home again. 2-2-2004 I'll be away for a little bit. I have and I think that it really helps. I remember when I went to sixth grade camp and I had this place in the mountains that I felt was a comfort to me. It was this big big rock....it was like a big bed. and I would lay there and look at the sky and I would feel alone and just relaxed thinking about life in general and jus laying down enjoying my little vacation you could say. I had an interview today for a job in the Valley. My cousin also told me about a job at her company so keep your fingers crossed! Sometimes I go to the beach and lay on the sand and look out onto the sea and just think about life and my future...or sometimes take a pencil and notebook and draw the scenery... this picture jus reminds me of how beautiful like can be... 1-13-2004 Have you ever been to Overstock.com? I LOVE that website. My friend told me about it recently and I don't know what I've done without it. It has the best prices on name brand stuff! Burberry scarves - $52, Steve Madden shoes - $30, Diesel jeans - $20. It's great. The books and DVDs are cheap. Shipping is cheap. You should definitely check it out. 1-09-2004 Welcome to my journal. First off, I'd like to thank you for visiting my website. My story is pretty basic. College student, student loans, credit cards, lose job, DEBT!!!!! Sob, sob, sob, I know. So, now I have a plan. I'm going to try and get work at a temp agency (or anywhere really), maybe sell some stuff on ebay, and do other things to try to make some money. Hopefully things will turn around for me soon. I'll try to keep you all posted on the situation as much as possible. I'll keep a journal and write my thoughts, things that happened to me, and other such things. So, stick around and have fun! |
