Yes sorry its late for a September letter but drat lighten
up on a brotha!
What an awesome few weeks for Ben Flash and his Boyish Good Looks!
Mid
September we came out with our first line of merchandise.
And how sweet it is! Then on October 5, 2001 the course of human events
was changed. As soon as word spread of the new release by Ben Flash
and His
Boyish Good Looks, entitled Kids Find "The Boot" Buried in the Trash,
many
things happened. Rolling Stone executives wept for joy, and then put
another
cigarette add in the magazine. Bob Dylan wrote a song called Bob Dylan's
dream #65552 which discussed having been overshadowed by the best band
ever,
he then smoked a cigarette. As fans at music stores around the country
clamored for their local music stores to open, some of them were smoking
cigarettes. COINCIDENCE??? yup.
Anyway I'll cut to the chase. The new album is out. Its hot. Honestly
I'm
quite proud of it. I know that many of you bought the album at fall
weekend,
but for anyway who a)doesn't have one b)would like another one c)would
like
another 17, there is a way. Heres what you do:
Send a check. Only a check, no cash please! Send a check for 9 dollars
(7
dollars for the album 2 dollars shipping and handling) to:
Ben Pattison
7 Pembroke St.
Rochester N.Y.
14620
In your envelope just put in a little note telling me how many you would
like, presuming you have written a check for enough :-). Also write
something
completely random, try to surprise me.
Anyway keep it cool, stay clean, and for the love of BGL don't smoke cigarettes.
