The Chinese believe a well balanced diet is its own medicine, and so do I - except when I'm eating catering quantities of chocolate. A generally healthy diet helps me compensate for some of those indescretions, I think. It's also more enjoyable and gives me more personal satisfaction than lots of junk and white sliced pan. But I'm neither Julia Child nor Darina Allen, so I like to keep it simple and quick if I can. The recipes I've included here are all designed to be fairly fast to make, not at all fiddly, and delicious.
